sickofwaitingtables Posted November 6 Posted November 6 There are sure many talks to be had about his win. It seems that the working class Americans think that the Democrats are out of touch and that they were better off economically with Trump. Of course they don't give a **** that he is a (bankrupt) awful billionaire, but anyways. 1
curiousladybug Posted November 6 Posted November 6 America is truly a third world country in 2024 with the amount of stupid people living in it. It is scary and everyone who is not seeing how serious this is not only for America but also the rest of the world is delusional. Awful times to be living in. Awful. It is not an exaggeration when we say that America truly failed all of us.Β 2

Kamala had the majority of Hollywood celebrity endorsements yet still lost every single vote (Her doing worse than Hillary even shocked me); I thought they relied too much on them instead of the average day-to-day voter from someone who wasn't following the election closely this time.Β Yeah honestly her last rally in Philadelphia reminded me of the Hillary campaign. Democrats are now basically seen as the party of the elite. Just another example of how out of touch the DNC is. 2 1

HausOfPunk Posted November 6 Posted November 6 What kills me is that assuming Trump makes it to the end of his term, he will have had his chokehold on American politics for almost 15 years non-stop. Imagine how tired we are. Β

The story of 2024 isn't that Trump brought in a surge, but that Dems failed to give it's a base a reason to get out. Kamala is down over 10 million votes from what Biden got, that's the dem base saying "sorry, I'd rather just not vote than endorse what you're selling me" which was coastal brunch white liberalism. It's 2016 the re-up with low dem turnout Edited November 6 by Redstreak 5
