RoseBud Posted November 6 Posted November 6 ย just out of curiosity are there any MAGA in here ???ย I only hear crying and little cheeringย
Phaunzie Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Let's be honest, we all know which demographic suddenly switched their vote or decided not to vote, because Kamala a darker skin woman was gearing to become president.ย 6
Bamboo Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I think we have an electorate that is undereducated and struggling financially. I think the right has managed to pin the left as the reason for this. Despite all actual evidence pointing to the Republican Party being the root of all of this. Their organizing has been stellar. ย I do not wish that naturalized Latinos who voted for Trump get deported. I do not wish that women who voted for Trump face hardships with their reproductive health. I hope everything works out, and I hope we come out of the next 4 years in a better position, in spite of what has been elected. 2
Devin Posted November 6 Posted November 6 disappointed but NOT surprised. ย any woman with pregnancy issues or hispanic/latino, LGBTQ, interracial dating citizen who voted for him should be ashamed of themselves. ๐คก 1 1

Libs are so hell bent on identity politics and "representation" of identities instead of addressing issues that affect or matter to different identitiesโฆ and here we are! ย Like, I'm sorry, I can't believe people are asking what prompted the huge Latino swing and areย stillย pointlessly reaching for identity politic platitudes? ย ย Reason #1) Inflation / the money in people's pocketsย Reason #2) 4 years of nonstop "migrant crisis!" fearmongering ย Many (not all, but many) immigrants seriously resent people who don't follow the same citizenship path as them. I feel like some people don't actually go out in the real world if they don't naturally know this ย ย And don't let other members laugh at you for browsing 4chan nnn. I do too, along with conservative Reddits and Twitter threads etc. I find much of what people post there deeply unsettling, but it's important to see/attempt to understand how people talk and think outside of our lib bubblesโฆ 6

Armani? Posted November 6 Posted November 6 16 minutes ago, Vespertine said: Go look at swing states. Some of the numbers coming out already might surprise you.ย ย How did Wisconsin shift from 8% black vote for Trump in 2020 to 21% in 2024? ย To be clear, I am not "blaming" any voters here. I am saying that if Democrats want a future in America, they need to figure out why they are slowly but surely losing support from demographics they assume will always be loyal. We already know white men are a lost cause for Dems, so they should be making sure to appeal to the people who actually tend to support them.ย ย As of right now, Kamala lost Wisconsin by about 30k votes. To lose 13% of one demographic in 4 years is pretty awful in a state where every ******* vote counts big time.ย ย And that's not even touching the COLOSSAL nationwide Latino shift. ย If Black men is 20% Trump in the national poll with over 1000 respondents, which is a nonstatistical 1pt movement right from 2020's 19% then the Wisconsin exit poll which has 90 Black men polled of 3000 since they're 3% of the electorate has a huge margin of error showing a 12pt movementย ย It's also the same in Pennsylvania, small 90 ppl sample. I would imagine they will update but it's whatever.
