Not surprised. Coworker husband would've voted for him if he could, because of how comical he is not policy. My dad would to because of the misdiscription that he believed that the work of the Dems Congress were Trumps doing.

Well if they do:-

Prices will go up. It's not the Chinese or whoever paying them, it's the importer and so then the US consumer.

 

If he passes them at 400% I think he mentioned, they will raise nothing by way of revenue. Why? Well,  if you have a $50k sort of a car it will cost $250k and who is going to pay that? Nobody.

 

So sure, jobs created in Detroit making cars within the US tariff wall, but less competition so in the long run they become the new style useless smoky Trabants of East German fame as the rest of the world moves on with newer tech.

 

China, or the EU or whoever the tariffs are targeted at, will retaliate so reducing US exports.

The gloating of the alt right is already unbearable. Muting Trump for the next x amount of years (I doubt it'll be 4) and probably gonna delete twitter entirely. I can't be on that platform anymore. 
 

I also mass unfollowed everyone on TikTok that joked about the election/follows Trump. Check all your faves reposts it will expose a LOT of silent trumpers.

Maybe this is copium but he looked so low energy at his acceptance speech. He did want to stay out of prison and avenge 2020 but I think he has 0 motivation to actually do any work, he looked completely wiped out at the end of the campaign. The bad part about this is that it leaves a vacuum that the absolute worst people like JD Vance, Elon Musk and Peter Thiel can fill.

So im seeing California voted against raising the minimum wage, and voted overwhelminly for harsher sentences for petty crimes 70-30.

- Stock market: Stocks performed better under Trump, though both presidencies coincided with stronger-than-average gains—the S&P 500 index has posted an annualized return of 12.6% since Biden and Harris took office in 2021, compared to 16.3% under Trump (and there most certainly hasn't been the stock market crash under Biden that his opponent forecasted in the 2020 race).

- Consumer health: Consumer sentiment was lower last month than it ever was under Trump, according to the University of Michigan's widely tracked survey, as Americans continue to feel the aftershocks of inflation despite strong headline economic growth numbers and a record stock market. September's 4.6% personal savings rate, which measures the percentage of Americans' income left over after expenses and taxes, was two-thirds of September 2019's 7%. The savings rate never fell below 5% under Trump.

Is anyone else emotional cause I woke up to tears in my eyes. Like I'm actually very shake up right now. I'm not trying to be a sore loser and I prepared for this but seeing blowout and mass turnout for red shows me how much propaganda has infected the minds of every individual in this country through social media. Including my original home state Nevada which I kinda expected to turn red. But seeing it actually happen is nauseating 

 

Im unfollowing every source and person that played a part in this. Including Jubilee which gave a platform to alt right trying to cash out on election clickbait. These people have no backbone. 
 

I also blame the news for obsessing about Trump and not focusing on pro Harris. Every time you turn on the tv they're dragging him (rightfully so) but the narrative just made Trump look like a victim to the media to all the clueless voters that have no idea how the government works.

- Elon Musk becoming an oligarch in the USA- completely involved in the politics of the country 

- RFK Jr incharge of health = brain worms for everybody 

- Kamala's political career dead as a door knob. 
- JD Vance will probably think about running for POTUS in 2028 

- Palestine will cease to exist in the next year or so. 
- Ukraine will become a part of Russia 

- Transgender folks will probably be sent to conversion camps 

 

Hope the third party girlies are celebrating all the new found freedom and they really stuck it to the libs. Owned us good.
