I'm replying to those in the thread defending her losing 20 million votes, and saying it was because she wasn't "left" enough, and that there wasn't an incentive to vote for her.   

 

But overall, less people voted for both parties than they did in 2020

Biden kept the unemployment rate at near record lows and maintained GDP growth despite the universal predictions of a recession.  Even when you get your 'punish the Democrats win' you still aren't happy. Just vengeful to the core.

Also, now Trump gets to exist in the economy that the Democrats rebuilt after covid and inflation, and may not reside over a major economic crisis during this term. He has been so lucky with his timing and is probably going to be popular for a while as he will take all the credit for a situation that was already improving 

 

If he does do the tariffs, maybe this will all come crashing down tho

Why do people repeatedly talk about Jill Stein votes, as if her VP pick wasn't even more right leaning than Kamala? 

 

15 million LESS people voted for Kamala than who voted for Joe Biden in 2020.  Trump has 3 million less votes than he did in 2020 (so far).  People didn't turn out to vote, and if they DID swing right, her pandering to the super liberal wouldve made it worse
