It felt like everyone was just going through a fun/poppy/dance music phase with all these post-COVID era albums and now reality hits once again and it felt like the dark ages are ahead. What will our pop girls do? How will their musical output react to this? Immediately after Trump won in 2016, dark minor-chord hip-hop singles dominated Top 40. Β There were several culture articles written about it at the time.

Β PREP would be the least of out concerns, since now gay marriage is gonna be on the chopping block just like Roe v. Wade 5
Ashley Banks Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I have to be up for work tomorrow in 3 hoursΒ Β Hopefully I wake up to the Democrats at least taking back the House.
Rosenda Posted November 6 Posted November 6 So Donald Trump also won the popular vote? Isn't this the first time this happens since Reagan? Im sorry butΒ 1

The polls were right this time tho, broadly, Selzer aside. NYT had him up in the popular vote many times and he looks to have won it by what they had him up by (1). All the aggregators had it as a tossup. The two most likely outcomes were a Trump sweep and a Kamala sweep, and we got one of those. This is an expected result with the data we had, within the margin of error. She was losing for like 3 weeks in the leadup to the election, had a small recovery at the last minute that turned out to be a bit of a mirage.

Chemist Posted November 6 Posted November 6 The most worrying part is seeing Elon Musk win again and get access to political power. Trump is going to die soon but that billionaire now understands how the game is played, oh he is going to be in power for A LONG TIME 8

JohnCrawford Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) Can't even imagine how Kamala feels right now. Β This is way worse than 2016 because in 2016 people could only GUESS what Trump could do as a president, but after 2020 we've seen the WORST in him and he got elected again!
