Yeah, you cannot do this. You cannot successfully appeal to progressives and conservatives at the same time. Conservatives have a salient conservative option in Donald Trump. Democrats continue to do this stupid strategy of trying to win over voters that are actively disinterested in them by veering to the right when they could instead focus on disenfranchised voters that are won over more by progressive policies. I, and others, keep saying this and have been mocked and condescended to for years. A few weeks back, I highlighted an article showing how this strategy of targeting center-right voters continues to fail liberal politicians in Europe and I was mocked as if it was a baseless argument. There is appetite for progressive policy—this is reflected in direct ballot initiatives which are winning in reliably red states. But, Kamala and the Democrats at large, would rather campaign with Liz Cheney rather than someone like Bernie Sanders who has an actual following because they're too arrogant to move to the left. It was a bad strategy and this failure of a campaign is the fault of Kamala Harris and the Biden administration as a whole. 1 16

I tried counting the remaining states and even if Kamala wins them it's not enough I think. It's over, over right? For starters, Trump has made clear he wants no part in helping Ukraine and that Putin has carte blanche to do whatever he wants in Eastern Europe. If we stop aid there, I could see them getting bulldozed and Putin making a play for other countries as well.

I've never seen so many Democratic yard signs in my life. Everything seemed to be going the right way. And all of it was a complete mirage. Not even close to being true. Where the **** did these Trump voters come from I'm just absolutely flabbergasted by it all. Complete and utter shock for me that Dems would lose this badly. Literally every gain we made in 2020 has been completely erased and shattered. 6
