TROPICUM Posted November 6 Posted November 6 not an american, just a foreigner who knows that US politics spills onto all systems of government in the world and the main reason i just prayed Trump didn't win was just because of the probability it will influence the world just a tad bit to be more radical in its ongoing conservatism movement ย but we already know what happens in a trump world. not as devastating, nor destructive as one can imagine but the actual amount of damage it does isn't small at all.ย ย life will get a more difficult, sociably the world will seemingly go back to a time we thought had passed. but i think we can go on and resist.ย ย people who are in the right side of history, you and anyone who knows what's wrong and bad, what's good for your neighbor or friends, will have to adhere to those morals more now than ever, just so when the tide lowers and there's chance of change, we remember the progress we had made and start once again from that point.ย ย so sorry for the long text and public venting. probably just wanted to leave a piece of my mind in here about what's to come. which is hard and ugly but once we're able to make progress in this world once again, we'll know how hard to fight for it. because we know what's to be on the other side ย ย ย ย 3

No incumbent party has ever won reelection with those numbers. Doesn't matter who the Democratic candidate was going to be, those number were simply to much to overcome. ย 4 years from now, we should definitely run an 'outsider' candidate with a more populist economic message but in this election, I don't think voters would have trusted any Democratic candidate to be the answer to their economic hardships. 4
