shelven Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Poking around NYT's Georgia page a bit more, and it looks like their lean towards Trump is based on an assumption that Harris's current margins in the Big 4 Atlanta counties will fall slightly as Election Day votes are counted. So if the theories are true that Dems did better in ED vote this time around, that could cause a shift in their prediction. I still think Trump narrowly wins Georgia just because Biden's margin as so tiny (so even a very small dip by Harris is enough to flip the state back), but I'm only like 55% sure. 1

This like all these rural counties with like 500 people flood in and of course it's gonna have Trump ahead. The bigger metro and suburbs take longer to count because there's so many and that leans democrat. Steve has been showing Harris margins against Biden's 2020 and she's been doing well. She's meeting his percentage or doing 2-3% more at this point. 4
