An electoral landslide can happen even if the raw vote in the swing states is close. Harris could win by 7 votes in the popular vote (+1 vote in each swing state) and have a 319 EV total. I think a lot of people are suspecting it is likely many of the swing states break the same direction, even if the raw totals are close.

No one thinks they will flip. It's about the margins in certain counties, particularly those in regions that have similar demographics to the swing states. IN is a midwest state so much of the demographics will have overlap with WI/MI. She won't win either state but if Trump's margin collapses, it bodes well for other states
