You didn't lie though

I don't believe they really did any campaigning on a national level, so the numbers there are no reflective of anything that matters in swing states. It's dead dead. Everyone with a brain wants to leave expeditiously. I guess an argument can be made that perhaps it's a good time for young democrats to try to build a more progressive base in Florida because the Democrats of old have completely given up (honestly don't blame them). 1

Trump barely losing doesn't change the GOP, Blexas could have them hitting the breaks on some of their extremes.

sexyback007 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I don´t live in the States and I can hardly concentrate, I send all of you going through a likely stressful Election Day the best of luck and strenght to cope with any outcome. Stay positive throughout the day and don´t let it disrupt your mental health, it´s just not worth it and out of your control. Things look very positive for Harris and I´m so proud of how far a campaign celebrating equality, union and hope can get. Let´s hope it sticks the landing and finally puts a dent on the culture of hate and basically lack of decency that´s been brewing for years. We need someone to stop those who are getting a bit too hateful and a bit too brave and that is Kamala. Chaos is temporary and now it´s time to heal. 4 2

Like, if not exit polls, at least we can look at the turnout figures. If Dems stay even close to R voters, that should be a good sign.

Vermouth Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) 32 minutes ago, Chemist said: all normal democracies are like that U.K. is literally bit of paper x about 35million. Same basic design everywhere, polls all open at 7.00am and close at 10.00 pm. Exit poll released literally one minute after polls close (usually pretty accurate), votes counted (by hand by volunteers) 98% counted within about 12 hours 100% within 24. This time prime minster's party got hammered, he resigned at about 10.30 the next morning, new Prime Minister appointed about one hour later. Now it was very very clear cut, but no lawyering up, no disputes, winners gracious, losers getting out of the way swiftly. Not often the U.K. gets a good press, but you know what, this is something that works really well. Edited November 5 by Vermouth 2 1
