And yet no teachers, public librarians, etc. So only government employees he thinks are voting for him.ย

An interesting tidbit, although probably not a very helpful one, is that the last time a VP ran for president(2000), the polls badly underestimated them. Reading the coverage of 2000, a lot of politicos seemed to think a Bush landslide was in the cards. Gore still lost, but I do wonder if there might be a pattern with VP's overperforming in close elections.ย

Literally what I just said. All I am seeing is posts about machines flipping votes alreadyย

Where is it? I signed up literally hours after it was announced and still haven't gotten any information other than "location to be announced soon".ย

Lakewood Amphitheater, but you'll have to show your email with the address to get in.

Dominion gonna be raking in that lawsuit money yet again it seems. The way they're going to turn lawsuits into a substantial part of the business income every 4 years. I have to laugh.ย

Its similar to 1960 when Kennedy had a substantial lead in the initial polling but he ended up defeating VP Nixon by mere 100k votes (though Kennedy lowkey had the electoral college advantage in that election thanks to LBJ as a running mate, solidifying Texas).

ย

The thing with 2000 though was that there was an October Surprise which harmed Bushโ€” when old news reports of his DUI during his college years were brought into the spotlight. ย

I was reading about the Bush DUI.ย  It does seem like it helped Gore's momentum going into the final stretch, although apparently Gore refused to make it an issue.

ย

The way I keep reading about Gore's campaign make super odd choices that could have cost him the election. From distancing himself from Clinton to choosing Liberman while Bob Graham and Jeanne Shaheen were right there, seems like Gore could have very well won if he got his head out of his buttย :deadbanana:ย

I would say Israel's next but that's already the 51st state.

Gore's campaign was a complete shitshowย :rip:ย I reckon that its a bigger mess than Hillary's (her sin is more of her persona rather than the campaign itself)

That was an absolutely winnable election. The Dems did well downballot so they had the momentum. Gore was too much of a jughead unfortunately, losing states like Tennessee (home state), New Hampshire (easy win) and West Virginia (a perennial blue state) because of his lack of foresight. He allowed Bush to set the moralist narrative when Gore couldve gone all in on the economic gains during Clinton. Florida didnt really need to matter at all.ย

Looks like there's a lot of events happening in NC today. A bunch of big political tiktokers/content creators are in Raleigh canvassing and doing events.ย

I'm gonna completely contradict myself from a few weeks ago and say I wish we had gotten a second debate. Kamala has been on fire lately while Trump is declining. Another debate with unmuted mics would've been the icing on the cake.ย

She needs to bring up how Trump is exhausted and weak at the townhall. Invite viewers to search clips of Trump walking aimlessly around his rally stages.

Ah, back in the good ol' days when stuff like this would hurt a politician lol.

I have seen a massive shift in how the media is suddenly covering Trump's age. Not sure if it'll do much, but I'm glad it's finally happening.

I love that she's been hitting all of the most recent talking points. As soon as a news story drops, she's mentioning it in her rally a few hours later. They're on top of it. :deadbanana4:

I saw a tweet that said her team needs to schedule Joe Rogan at the same time as Trump and get them both in there in front of the mic and lock the doors :rip:

I truly cannot put into words how much of a loser this guy is... The way he talks, the way he responds, the aura he gives off is just so punchable. :ahh:ย
