Not to be all "isn't democracy beautiful????" when said democracy is extremely close to electing a literal racist who openly brags about how much he wants to be a dictator, but I will say it's pleasantly surprising to see that the early predictions of a big turnout drop compared to 2020 probably aren't going to pan out. Trump winning would be awful either way, but a Trump win based on a highly engaged voting population feels ever so slightly easier to swallow than a Trump win that only happened because everyone checked out of the election after the Democrats couldn't find someone who people actually wanted to vote for.

I can't say much about it but I would love to have a president that I've talked to on multiple occasions in the last five years, I was proud to vote for Kamala when I sent in my ballot this month.

Why do you and your garbage party feel entitled to the progressive vote again? I genuinely wanna know. Cause y'all don't want minorities dead?

Lmao. Where did I say that in my post? It's objectively ******* stupid to write in the leader of Hamas. It's nothing but showboating and virtue signaling coming from a white American. Why do you and your garbage party never get anything done? Why is looking virtuous online more important than getting any kind of legislation passed that actually helps people?

I'm not affiliated with any political party.
I'm gonna ask again: why do you and Democratic Party feel entitled to the progressive vote?

To ask why he, you and the rest of the democratic party feel entitled to the progressive vote. It wasn't obvious? Sorry!

No one said that and, just like you, I am a registered independent. Reading comprehension is so wonderful!ย

I don't feel entitled to anything y'all do since you do... nothing. Instead, I just expect y'all to walk the walk and talk the talk. Y'all spend all damn day sitting online screaming about how you're the ethical and moral authorities, but when it comes to putting in the work and trying to affect change, you go silent because canvassing or phone banking for your preferred candidate isn't exactly "social media friendly". You're not gonna get a bunch of likes by being like, "hey, I phone banked for my candidate today" like you would posting a photo of an objectively stupid write-in vote. :rip:

The dark cloud that hangs over this election makes us forget just how much Kamala and Trump are meme machinesย :dies:ย  they're both so funny

Ironically, Republicans manipulating the polls will probably backfire. How many Democrats who figured 'Kamala's got this, I don't need to vote', or Republican women pissed about abortion rights but don't want to get their hands dirty, are gonna see it's close and bite the bullet and get out and vote Kamala?
