I think dems should use Vance's abysmal popularity in ads and in interviews to showcase how old and mentally unwell Trump is (just as they did with Biden and to be fair, democratic voters, too). By doing so forces the notion that Vance would be a step away from the presidency. Which to me, is actually more unsettling than Trump. ย ย 1

She's still unable to deem Putin a war criminal. Exactly, and it's why I have such trouble with her as a candidate.ย ย 1.) She hasn't shown she's incorruptible, so there's no real reason to believe she won't go back on anything she said and her promises aren't empty because there's no burden of proof with her. ย 2.) Her entire campaign is primarily built on criticizing Dems, which is fine, but making Dems the primary enemy and including "Trump too..!" as a small footnote isn't a good way to gain traction with voters who are actually sympathetic to the causes she claims to be for. I don't know how legitimate that finding is showing that she's hurting Republicans more now than Democrats, but it wouldn't shock me cause her platform's messaging is more anti-Democrat than anything else. 5 2
dman4life Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I definitely agree that highlighting Trump's obvious decline and Vance's unlikeability will turn off some moderate Trump leaning voters.ย 3

dman4life Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) The way that seemingly "normal" and "smart" ppl can be so intellectually dishonest with themselves when it comes to Trump needs to be studied. I'm not talking about elected officials or pundits who want to keep their jobs but regular ppl who have nothing to lose by telling the truth. It's so bizarreย Edited October 17 by dman4life 5

Relampago. Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Trump's campaign strategy has arguably never been worse but we keep popping in here with the dooming ย I was super bearish on Harris until this month, but I only get more hopeful she's taking this as we get to the end. She's locked in, and Trump is hiding. 10

Dooming brings clicks. The media wants clicks. Just keep that in mind when you see this influx of negativity. 14 4
Mike91 Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Neither side should feel like they are going to lose because there's nothing to suggest in any of the polls that anyone has the edge over the other.ย ย Election night will be a different story.ย 1

Popular Post shelven Posted October 17 Popular Post Posted October 17 I know pointing out the double standards Trump benefits from is a boring take at this point, but just try to imagine the media cycle we would be in right now if Harris (or worse yet, Biden) was suddenly cancelling tons of planned interviews and media engagements 3 weeks before the election ย These news organizations truly don't even try to hide how much their rich CEOs want Trump to win anymore 17 1
