Blade Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Why do the vibes feel like Trump is more likely to win but also that he's off the rails to the point of demoralizing the base he needs to win? A huge part of Trump's appeal and the vibes that he was 100% going to win over the summer was due largely to him being the "strong" candidate. Now he looks like a huge piece of wrinkled orange pudding. Kamala's campaign would be wise to plaster the swing states with ads pointing out how different trump looks and sounds now compared to 2016. 4 1

I am a pessimist so of course I expect trump to take it with 350 electoral votes and trying to plot my escape from a gay camp as speak. We balance each other in here. 1

I'm a little more confident in Georgia than I am in like...AZ, and high turnout is always good, but we shouldn't read it into right now especially when we don't even have party breakdowns. Georgia staying blue would be great though and a good sign for NC which also got bluer in 2020. I'd take the GA+NC combo over NV+AZ any day given one is 32 EV's and the other is 17 1 1

Kamala holding some Biden numbers with the base more or less + higher white women share (shy harris voter wives) + low rural turnout (people like those guys who just aren't excited for trump even if they care little for harris) should = a Kamala win. But you never know. Polls show such a tight race. Unless you're NYT/Siena where the electorate is completely different from 2020. 4
Redstreak Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Personally I'm also still optimistic, I haven't seen anything that's spelled outright doom for me yet 3
