If she had the guts to stand against Israel and this happened, it would be kinda iconic and could actually be a good thing for her legacy in the future.

I don't think US politicians are interested in a legacy that involves breaking with "the only bastion of democracy in the Middle East." They'd see backing down from supporting Netanyahu's genocide as worthy of shame rather than praise.

Β

i wish the calculation was different, but a bipartisanship chaser who wants Republicans in her cabinet and advisory boards is NEVER going to be open to conditioning aid to Israel. And her loyalty to Joe Biden isn't a glitch that will be patched out and fixed by Biden no longer being in office. I truly believe she intends on serving as a full continuation of how Biden ran the country, with the only differences distinguishing her from him making her administration worse overall than his.

Interesting how they also bring up what I have before, that NC's results may be weird due to the hurricane affecting the entire western part of the state, which voted +25 R in 2020 while the rest of the state voted +3 D.

Β

Even small shifts in the R margin combined with lower turnout in that region could lead to a surprising result.

"The 338Canada project is a statistical model of electoral projections based on opinion polls, electoral history, and demographic data."

not sure what this is supposed to mean. :deadbanana:
Β

Edit; read a little more into it and it's being swayed by the flooding GOP pollsters are pushing.Β

Idk I just like to over react heheΒ

Yes I've very spiteful and vengeful against the party that's currently funding and arming a live streamed genocide against folks in my home country while instead of trying to reach out to us or reassure us of our concerns, the current nominee is tripling down on support for the genocide and would rather reach out to members of the opposite party after spending the past couple years demonizing them and shifting to similar conservative viewpoints on certain issues.Β
Β

You dumb dumbs need to understand that I don't give a damn who wins and who loses. As a Palestinian American, I lose either way. If Kamala loses, yes I'm going to gloat and laugh about how she loses what could have possibly been the easiest winnable election ever had she just not run the horrible campaign she is currently running. Cry more about it babes!

On one hand I am sorry you're going through that as it's a personal matter.

Β

On the other I don't get why you have to be so inflammatory towards others about it. You, along with a few other posters here, just love to be holier than thou, and go after other members for the most harmless opinions. Just as you are voting for a singular issue affecting you I am voting for multiple issues affecting my friends, the U.S. as an entity,Β and me as well. You should at least be able to respect it as I would respect your vote. I even respect my friend voting for trump cuz it gives him massive tax breaks, cuz that's what he cares about. I might deem it as selfish but at least you and him are honest and that earns respect imo. And obviously your singular issue is very strong willed and important, but again, I don't get the need to run to a pop music forum and make a ruckus every post. And like I said before, if you're gonna troll, be funny… girl…

Rage and spite and laughing at people upset by the prospect of a Trump presidency does nothing for Palestine and only serves to soothe your own selfish feelings and desire to see people who you have disagreements with suffer. Guess what - none of us in here are responsible for Israel's genocide. Not even the good sis DNCBox. Nothing you do in terms of ragebaiting, over the top statements about Kamala having sex to images of dead Palestinian kids, pissing off the libs and gloating actually does anything except make people who mostly agree with you on the issue think you're a loon.

Β

Pure nihilistic venting into the void - and you are by no means the only member who does this

Not DNCbox πŸ’€

I think it'd have to get even worse than it is now in that area of the world, or have other world leaders intervene for ANY one in our political system to try and reverse what has been done. We are already shamed by most of the world in supporting Israel and that didn't do anything so… idk it's all a mess and I think somethings gonna have to get really really REALLY bad before we have a massive reform (history says as much). Maybe trump is the answer hehe…

I just read that Dan Osborne in Nebraska could be and Independent win in the senate who leans a little more towards to dems and Brown has a decent shot at holding Ohio. We still have a sliver of a chance at holding the senate.Β

Permabanned ages ago, as a mod clarified in this thread, for insinuating the Palestinians had it coming.

After what happened in North Gaza last night - Michigan is lost imo. Now the time has come to squander what other EC votes can add up to a win.Β

People here trying to separate Gaza and this election are denialists and delusional. Gaza is at the core of this election and Kamala is the sitting VP. There are real consequences to doing nothing.Β

The common wisdom among several here is that Dobbs will be enough to save her. I've been consistent in not buying it.

4 pages spent recently on this exact topic in this exact state so all I'll say before others do is to again emphasize that today's 30-day humanitarian window is complete bull****.

Dobbs saved the Dems in 2022 but thats because Trump was not on the ballot

Idk if its enough to overcome his presenceΒ
