:michael:ย  Trump keeps pounding out how Kamala is not smart etc.ย  Time for her to challenge him to an onstage Cognitive test and then lets see what he says.ย

Jon Ralston in Nevada is literally the only early vote analyst I actually trust. I'm watching that PA guy with some curiosity, but I don't fully trust him because it doesn't seem like he's made a name for himself in this type of analysis like Ralston has.

Obama is about to out here cursing the rest of the race after that trash Siena poll:skull:

The NYT-Siena poll where Harris is only getting 83% of the black female vote is so absurd it's genuinely funny. What a garbage sample.

Here in SF Union Square there have been two small merch booths within 10 feet of each other. One for Kamala and one for Trump.ย :deadbanana2:ย I walk by it every day. And the HUGE "Kamala HQ" space that is being used in the old Nordstrom building that's always extremely empty :deadbanana4:

To be fair the top # is higher including undecidedsย

ย

But the fact they have Trump at 12% with Black women is higher than every Black specific poll I've seen for Kamala.

ย

20% for Black men as well is also ironically now the highest. The NAACP poll made in early August, the one they always share for the Under 50 Black men at 26% was at 19%. And that was the ceiling until now I guess lol

ย

Definitely a outlier.ย

ย

Black women were at 9% & Black men at 17% in the average of the other 4 Black polls before the debate.:skull:

I had lunch with my boyfriend's family friend and she was telling me how she's been fighting with her 22 year old son about politics lately. He keeps telling her that Kamala has a low IQ and that the presidency is a job for a white man. He supports Trump but he's not voting because it's "rigged"ย

ย

The young white male incel vote Trump has been focusing on is such an unreliable voting block.

If Trump loses, books will be written about how awful his campaign wasย

This is the only saving grace Kamala might have right now. My 23 year old brother says Kamala is going to plunge us into WWIII, loves Elon, was definitely for Trump over Biden in 2020, but he also didn't vote in 2020 so I'm doubtful he'll vote this year. Tbh I would be surprised if he even knew, even ballpark, when Election Day was. Young cishet white men are a very unreliable demo for voting. They have nothing to lose and many will not find it worth it to research where to vote and then stand in line for an hour or more.

I know establishment republicans will pretend they never supported him along with people who just supported him for chaos/ignorance/economic misconceptions but how do you even begin to deprogram MAGA and their distorted worldview given all the misinformation and conspiracy theories they've fallen victim to? Trump is a symptom not the illness itself. Many American families have already been torn apart by the conspiracy theory wormhole; how do we even begin to deconstruct and reconstruct?

Thinking working class men of color care about *rereads* antifa when the person you're quoting is a white conservative who is accused of being a pedophile human trafficker during his time spent in Southeast Asia??ย

I don't think there's any changing hearts and minds with that group. I think best case scenario is that Trump looses, and enough of MAGA become disengaged with politics because the next slew of Trumpion candidates (JD Vance, DeSantis) just aren't able to connect with MAGA voters like Trump (neither has any charisma)....or the Republican party is in shambles with 2 different wings of the party fighting for power...the more moderate wing of the party vs. The MAGA wing.

If she does lose we may not have to sit through an election again until we're all like 60, but hear me out, I'm gonna get morbid. Maybe the country and these ******* morons in the south and Midwest need to see what true suffering the Republican Party can cause to wake them up. Because at this point, between man made hurricanes and these conspiracies, I don't know what else saves them other than great suffering. Whether it be cruel policy that finally affects them, the tariffs setting off an age of poverty, absolute economic collapse from trump being a complete idiot, or some handmaidens tale form of outcome. Because at this point I really don't know what brings people back from psycho land. I truly don'tย

These are some reasons I disagree with wanting to work with Republicans at least as long as Trump controls them, because they are the party that attracts hurricane machine conspiracists and incels. I don't know what good could come out of that.

I think polls are underestimating Kamala's black support but overestimating her white support

The law he mentions, the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, was the law that was used for Japanese internment. It basically lets the government detain or deport any non-citizen (legal or illegal) over the age of 14.ย

I just read up about it...ugh The fact that this heinous cheeto would have the support of the Supreme Court is nauseating

Yeah this is what I was worried about. Who knows what other old laws are just laying dormant. I am terrified for this election. I don't think 70% of this country even knows how bad it's gonna be if he wins
