Blade Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Not to be a doomer but Trump will definitely make inroads with Black men this election. Not sure how much it'll change the race but if it's close it could be the difference between a win and a loss. 5

Not sure how much it'll change the race but if it's close it could be the difference between a win and a loss. He already made minor inroads in 2020, so is he supposed to make more inroads relative to 2020? Nearly all of the polls have Trump below 20% for Black men overall before the debate. We haven't really gotten anything since then. The only bad poll was the NAACP poll for specifically young Black men, and it was conducted early August Black Voter Project has 18% tracking Late July through mid August for Black men likely voters. Ipsos/Washington Post Black voters poll has him at 16% in mid August for Black men. Howard's Poll for the Swing States said 21% for Under 50 Black men & 10% for 50+ Black men. So around 16% overall. That was the last high quality poll we got and it was conducted right before the debate 1 1
anti-bitch Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Here's a good stream for information about the Hurricane and also tornado warnings coming with it 1
anti-bitch Posted October 9 Posted October 9 I imagine the storm is gonna change whatever campaign plans both sides had for the rest of the week.
dman4life Posted October 9 Posted October 9 She needs to focus on rallying the base as much as possible these last few weeks. Let Tim continue to visit the rural areas but she needs to continue her media blitz and make herself as visible as possible. She really needs to polish up her responses on how she'd differ from Biden. 1
Blade Posted October 9 Posted October 9 @dabunique did the trump miami townhall happen or is it postponed? God twitter is a cesspool now i cant find anything useful on the search feature. 1

Plus Rallies with the Obama's in important parts of the swing states to rally the base ect. 👏🏼 2
Sannie Posted October 9 Posted October 9 This is why I really want Kamala to lean into the "your family won't know who you vote for" narrative. The ballot box is confidential. You can vote for you, your sister, your mother, your daughters, and no one will ever know. 8 1

Although, how did people find Chappell's voting records? Is the ballot box actually that private or could someone find who you voted for if they cared enough to?

Depending on the state, the most you could find is party affiliation and whether you voted at all a certain year: 1 4
Armani? Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Another maybe good sign is the gender gap in these polls for Black men & Black women is not large. In the Howard poll, 81% of Black men & 83% of Black women were in support of Kamala In Washington Post/Ipsos it was 84% of Black women & 80% of Black men. There is much more undecideds for Black women in these polls though, so there's a higher ceiling for Kamala since I don't think anyone assumes they're backing Trump 3
Parachutes Posted October 9 Posted October 9 1 hour ago, dabunique said: I jus saw another ad saying this bill would allow minors to have abortions without letting their parents kno I've seen these too and it's so blatant because the ballot text literally says "This amendment does not change the Legislature's constitutional authority to require notification to a parent or guardian before a minor has an abortion" so I hope people actually read 1 1
