shelven Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Is 60 Minutes always edited this weirdly? Why does it feel like the entire interview is just a choppy compilation of 10 second soundbites 1 1

So many people think spending money is bad, but if the money being spent is going towards investing in the country an its people, that is objectively a good thing. $3 trillion dollars over ten years is a drop in the bucket if it does produce 3 million new homes and tax credits for parents, homebuyers, and small business owners. ย 2 hours ago, Lil Mistee said: Besides this man lying about his 50 percent tax payments, it's funny to see all these republicants in the replies bending themselves over to argue for the richest people on earth. shelven Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Others have said it in here, but it really is true that Harris is stronger when she's just lifting the vibes and being a fun/likeable person as opposed to getting into the weeds on policy ย It's kind of a catch-22 because from a moral perspective I don't think presidental candidates should ignore policy, but from a purely strategic perspective, I wonder if she would still be at her pre-DNC or post-debate polling highs if she didn't take the bait of everyone asking her to do policy interviews and just kept trying to coast off the vibes and joyful warrior stuff 4 3

And she sucks on the few things she can buck Congress on, especially her promise to continue arming and giving diplomatic cover for a genocidal apartheid state. ย She should largely stick to running on vibes and being the fun aunt like Maya Rudolph. Because every time she brings up her foreign policy positions I want to vomit. 1 1
