Relampago. Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Glad to see this thread a little more positive and confident after the huge wave of negativity last week! ย I'm also feeling better about Kamala's chances too. Maybe it's because polling has been a little slower lately, but it feels like the momentum is in her favor now. 5

She hates politics and hates Harris but cant stand to vote for Trump again. I wonder how common this kind of mindset is this year.ย ย Very common. Driving around majority republican towns, there's literally zero Trump signage this year. None at all. My Trump supporting family and relatives don't seem to care about this election at all, It definitely feels like he's lost his novelty. I think capitol attack sunk him, its unpopular even in the south.ย But i've been wrong so many times, so we'll see. ย ย Edited October 5 by harwee 1
JustHoran Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I don't like Call Her Daddy podcast or host, but that is a huge podcast and a LOT of women listen to it so this is actually really great for Kamala ย

I can't see it for myself since I live in a blue city that is liberal as ever with the few usual loud annoying MAGAs that pop up every now and then with their flags. ย low rural turnout would collapse his campaign. let's hope that happens in swing states and is not just happening in rural parts of non-swing states. 1

To be fair, isn't the observation limited to rural places? Phoenix is not traditionally republican anymore its been close to split 2016 and 2020.

Phoenix is not traditionally republican anymore its been close to split 2016 and 2020. My observation? I live in the suburbs of Phoenix yeah, but my area is traditionally blue. ย I also go to Scottsdale (East Phoenix suburb) to go out and Downtown too. Other suburbs like Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa are usually more red so I doubt there'd be any hope there, but I have heard whispers of Mesa becoming more blue after the mayor endorsed Kamala. Further out west than me, it also gets more red for sure. ย I think one thing I can say is Phoenix proper *does* seem more blue, but the suburbs are noticeably a bit more red this year, except maybe Scottsdale and Tempe which also has a large young/college student population. ย ย I don't think any of this spells doom for Kamala in AZ though. I saw virtually 0 ads here for Biden outside of TV ads, and I see Harris billboards, signs and pamphlets everywhere for her this time around. Her TV ads also run way, WAY more often than Trump's.ย

GhostBox Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) Watching the GOP commentators on CNN ect it seems like they are going completely insane and turning into complete liars themselves ๐just like Trump is.ย ย it was bad before but I've noticed a change recently.ย ย ย also I'm happy to see the media finally pushing back against Donald's lies (specifically about the hurricane funds this time)ย ย ย Edited October 5 by GhostBox
