Blade Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I think one of the most pronounced swings in Silver's model are her chances in NE02. The model currently has her at 91% chance of winning NE02. I believe it was as low as the 70's at one point (possibly lower). Not sure if anyone can go back to see what the model said a month ago or something. I think this is correlating well with her chances in the rust belt seeing as they're not collapsing despite some shitty R polls flooding the model in the past 2 days. 2 1

I am literally getting 8-10 politics related texts a day, and I ONLY see political ads on YouTube now. There's just thousands of signs and billboards everywhere too. I have never seen anything like this here, not even in 2020. There were already quite a bit since August but it feels like it's pretty much tripled in the past couple days Edited September 30 by Relampago.

Kamala's are all "Republicans for Harris" and "Moderates for Harris" billboards as well as abortion-related TV ads. There's not much else from her, which I guess makes sense since she'd probably want to avoid talking about immigration, but I don't see why running a few ads on the economy and Trump's tariffs raising prices would hurt. Trump's are obviously mostly about Kamala being way too radical and her failing on immigration. If I'm being honest, I could see the immigration one being the most effective from his ads, but there are noticeably less Trump ads that run and I see only 1 billboard for him in Phoenix which is just him fist pumping after the 1st assassination attempt. I would say it's like a 70/25 split of advertising between them, with that last 5 percent being a Gallego/anti-Kari Lake ad here and there. I wish Kamala would talk about the climate crisis in her ads here though. We just hit 117 the other day at the end of September… those are high even for early July temps. The heat here is becoming unbearable with endless summers. I wouldn't be surprised if we stay above 100 till the end of October which is unheard of here And I hear ya on canvassing. I'm going to be doing that next week. I haven't done it since 2016 (didn't do it in 2020 for obvious reasons) so I'm a little nervous. I feel things are definitely more tense than they were in 2016 when everyone sorta assumed Hillary would win and we could just laugh off the Trump supporters. But this race being so close feels like it'll definitely be a more wild time knocking on doors. 5 2
