I know people are saying it won't (it probably won't) but Walz is such a stand up guy and Vance is hellspawn so I can see it helping a bit in the way that Biden vs Ryan in 2012 did. Β It also doesn't hurt that Vance could theoretically become president with Trump's age and x2 assassination attempts.
dman4life Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Even post 2016 Trump win it's so hard to imagine a world where Vance is heartbeat away from the presidency. All it takes is for Trump to stumble and have a bad fall and we're screwed even moreΒ 5

It would mean polls showing a tied or Trump leading are overestimating. The averages showing Harris at +2.8-3 nationally would he accurate in this case. 1
Blade Posted September 25 Posted September 25 I understand that polling Nevada is harder due to the strange work schedules of many in the two biggest cities but it's so much smaller than all the other swing states you'd think the population difference would incentivize pollsters to at least TRY there if they're doing a Sun Belt poll run.

Adrian14 Posted September 25 Posted September 25 At the national level, how are they doing in the polls? Β
ClashAndBurn Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Really ironic how the candidate liberals have hyped themselves up as the greatest shining beacon of hope will end up being the biggest flop of a president of all time with zero policy deliverables on the horizon. Β Then again, maybe it's exactly what you should expect from the current Democratic Party. Status quo preservation is the new progress, and progressives are fascists, and fascist Republicans are good-faith partners for bipartisanship. 2

dman4life Posted September 25 Posted September 25 She constantly fails to make the case that Trump didn't do anything to make prices low during his Presidency, he simply rode the wave of Obama'a economy and took credit for it like the conman he is. If Ron Desantis is gonna be her opponent in 2028, I think she'll slip if her 1st term is just nothing. She'll have the longterm effects of Biden's modest domestic policies though I guess.
