Me, for over a year: I like Joe Biden, I think he's a decent politician, he's probably going to do all he can on immigration, climate, education, and health care policy despite a 50/50 Senate. Democrats are sooo much better than Republicans. You + ur friends: Joe Biden sux! He's not going to do anything for us. Both parties are the same! Boo! Who exactly is supposed to be seething? Feels good to be proved right about Uncle Joe.

The new argument now being progressives were wrong because *checks notes* Biden was able to force the Secretary of Education's hand in private discussions and not need to do a formal EO that would have changed the department's policy unilaterally and opened up Cardona to be fired by Biden.
