Oh, also I feel like this is worth a mention: Phoenix Pride is actually in late-ish October. She should set up some kind of event around that time, it's also right around the SWEAT tour Phoenix stop, Tinashe and Slayyyter are performing that same weekend, like maybe these aren't Eras tour level events but they feel like free layups to Harris's campaign to drive some last minute enthusiasm for her campaign.Β

Β

She herself doesn't even need to come that weekend, since it'll probably be critical for her to be smart about her stops so close to the election, but it's basically a free rally where she doesn't even need to organize it herself. All the people will already be there and in town.

i wish she didn't have to do all this vp stuff that doesn't Β really matter (these meetings with the VP don't matter unfortunately) and could focus all of her energy campaigning πŸ‘ŽπŸ»

very much doubt she had to do this when biden's schedule is wide open. this is a campaign choice to show she looks presidential.

local media (terrestrial radio, TV news) is as irrelevant as national media and only really reaches seniors. at least national TV media has the chance to go somewhat viral, local segments will be ignored. it is crazy to me that she has so many obama people on her campaign who had himΒ everywhere and she's not doing any out-of-the-box digital/podcast stuff and just relying on youtube ads.

seniors are like a quarter of people who vote (having served as an election judge in my state in 2020)

Β

the disconnect between who engages with election content on social media and who actually shows up at the polls is tragic but realΒ

I was thinking the same thing. And she surely looks presidential.Β

eh, millions of people listen to local radio to and from work as they sit in traffic. It's a huge, diverse market.Β

I disagree. Local media is still huge when it comes to ROI. Whether it be a radio show or local news network interview, local media plays everywhere. In restaurants, convenience stores, doctor's offices etc. Not to mention the local media generated from simply doing those spots (local news covering it and it appearing on their social media accounts etc)

Harris recently did a Spanish radio interview in a specific media market (I forget if that was in PA or NC) but I thought that was genius. Her "national" media was the debate. Walz has another chance to lift up the ticket in front of millions in just over a week. Stick to the swing state rallies, visiting local businesses, local media interviews, and occasional participating in phone banking.

Β

Now, I will say I think her schedule of this PA, AZ, NV this week is lacking. She should be in MI and WI too at a minimum. Curious to see where they deploy the Obamas.

I'm always surprised at how many younger and older people still listen to the local radio in their cars πŸ’€

So girls, what country are we fleeing too of Kamala loses because as far as my anxiety is concerned until she's up 20 I won't feel sane, even then I'm still not a fan of polls. This election has done a number on my mental health. Even when I avoid all things political it's still in the back of my mind. Trump truly has me shakingΒ :duca::jonny5:

I lowkey feel like the polls are off and are underestimating one of them :jonny:

Β

I fear that whoever wins will probably win most of the swing states, and our outcomes will look like this:

So she's relying on a lot of pacs not officially with her campaign?

Β

Honestly she's doing great though if the AA vote in recent polls hold nationally. But she's gonna have to invest more if her campaign is trying to get 2008 or 2012 margins. Otherwise something around 2016 margins seems the most possible right now
