Democrats really think their best bet to beat the most popular non-Trump Republican in the country is... a literal former Republican. :bibliahh:

Says it all really.

It matters because it's an open window into what Democrats think is electable. They're shifting more conservative ever since Hillary's loss, even though she wasn't progressive in the slightest. They shifted right when they nominated Joe Biden, and now they're putting forward literal Republicans like Eric Adams and Charlie Crist as their supposed champions for the "future of the Democratic Party."

This extends far beyond the dead-end race for Florida Governor.

Imagine thinking Hillary lost because she was too progressive, I HATE Democrats :rip:

Bernie did better than her against Trump in virtually EVERY general election matchup (and the only reason Trump won is that Hillary was the Dem nominee), so that's clearly not the reason.

Is there anything showing a Stacy endorsement of Bloomberg that you can post? I googled it and don’t see that she endorsed him when he ran for president. Only see articles about her saying he can run his campaign however he liked (his own finances) and them being together a few times for her voting rights events.

nothing about an endorsement

This really did get vicious towards the end. Y'all can gloat if you want and I promise I'm not simping for either but I would've been sad no matter the result.

Maloney got bludgeoned out because she openly said Biden shouldn't run in 2024. Can't say I'll miss her either, but... that's why Nadler ultimately got the big Schumer endorsement, even though he kind of waffled on that question during the debate, saying that it "shouldn't be discussed until after midterms." :rip:

Mondaire spoiling Yuh-Line Niou instead of taking the fight to Sean Patrick Maloney like he should have. ******* coward. He's exactly the kind of snake that Elizabeth Warren is. :biblionny:

What an absolute disaster. Now there's going to be an ultra-wealthy resistance liberal in Congress on the merits of his failed impeachment prosecution of Trump. Yikes.
