Harris hiding in the shadows feels like it'll inadvertently somewhat replicate that exact phenomenon for Trump by giving Trump room to define her for her. 2

It doesn't make much sense to try and compare her lead to Biden's lead in 2020. Biden was running against Trump during Covid and he had years to prop up his campaign. We really need to avoid trying to make these one-to-one comparisons when it's just not possible this time around. This race is going to be incredibly close so even having a 2% or 3% lead is good. 3 1
