It's suddenly extremely obvious why he didn't make the finals of the Veepstakes Yeah this man is absolutely contesting with Klob for the most talkative wet mop competition Andy's not the best speaker, but how this man beat him out in the competition is a mystery

Ashley Banks Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Remaining speakers before Kamala Harris: Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Actress Eva Longoria Former Illinois GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger Maya Harris North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper Vice President Kamala Harris
Save-Me-Oprah Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Mark Kelly's speech is drier than all that freeze-dried astronaut food they made him choke down
Pikachoo Posted August 23 Posted August 23 I can see why she went with Walz. I'm sure Mr. Kelly is a great senator, but Walz has that fire needed to read magats
wastedpotential Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Panetta walking out to ******* Eye Of The Tiger oh you cannot make this **** up
DR0GO Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Jesus Christ, I can't say it enough how glad I am that she went with Walz.

CamCam Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) Honestly, there's only one phrase that come to mind when it comes to the DNC, and it's simply a "sigh of relief". Seeing this convention for the past few days, including just the overall momentum going on since July has been nothing short of both being moving, and inspiring. Even just seeing the spotlight tonight on things like gun violence issues, the importance of being active this election cycle, etc. feels like progress towards finally getting past the toxicity Trump & MAGAism has embedded in this country. And at this point, it makes me all the more eager to vote Kamala & Tim in November October (early voting girlies, RISE UP) Edited August 23 by CamCam 7

I've also noticed that Kamala Harris's identity as a woman, Black, and Asian is rarely mentioned anymore. It was highlighted more during her last presidential campaign and her vice-presidential campaign. Even in her response to Trump questioning her Black identity, she delivered a general 'ignore the negativity' message instead of fully calling out the racism and misogynoir. I think this is partly because they've learned that emphasizing these aspects can be woke-washing, but also because they're trying to appeal more to centrists and right-wingers.
wastedpotential Posted August 23 Posted August 23 I think the spirit of Henry Kissinger has possessed Panetta for duration of this speech Especially the random Reagan praise? 1
Harrier Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Kelly a borefest. Never has a VP pick been more immediately shown to be correct than Tim. Even the Obama impersonator has had mid appearances lately 1 1
