I think Trump is genuinely a weak candidate this time around and more cracks will show as we get closer to the election. From the Dobbs decision, to being a convicted felon, and even after the assassination attempt, I truly think people are tired of the political theatre Trump brings and a lot of people are worried about what a 2nd Trump term means. Harris doesn't really have these problems generally. Harris's main problem is that Biden was an unpopular president, but she isn't Biden even if her policies aren't that different. If she can differentiate herself from him, which I think she has already done to an extent, I think people will vote for her simply so we can move on from the Obamas, Clintons, Trumps, and Biden and try something new. 7

This was the my main sentiment. it feels like voters are craving 2 things: inflation to go down, and something NEW in politics. I feel like democrats would be getting crushed downballot id the overwhelming sentiment was "we want Trump and Republican back". But all polling and avaliable data shows that is not the case. Kamala represents something new to a big portion of the electorate even though she's been in the Biden administration 2
