The fact that she got 20% of the vote in the New Hampshire primary - more than double the eventual nominee who became president - is such a goofy footnote in history. 2 1

They are a candidate for whom Democratic voters voted for in the Democratic primary - getting more votes than Kamala Harris, who has gotten *zero* despite being awarded the nomination - got to be the nominee. Other people who run in the primary often get to speak, even people who lost. 2020: 2016: 2008: 2004: 2000: 1992: While true, they all endorsed the presumptive nominee beforehand. I do think a Palestinian deserves a spot to speak, I just dont find the risk aversion from the DNC surprising.

The endorsement is literally available to Harris if she agree to stop aiding Israel in killing Palestinians. There are ICE and border patrol agents speaking at the DNC because Harris shifted to a hard-right position on immigration, farther right than any Dem since like 2008. Why is she willing to haggle for the endorsement of people who hunt down migrants but not for people who are life-long Democratic voters whose grandparents are being bombed? 3 1
