And he had burned a lot of bridges with the Jewish community that go beyond his botched Israel takes. Anyway Levin is a nepotism baby parachuting in a district that already had a strong representative, that ran a campaign that was doomed from the beginning. As always the left will ignore everything and blame it on AIPAC. Good luck on the next one tho, I'm sure it will be different!

It's so wild to me that someone from Brazil whose most known trait is still them calling Beyonce a horrifically racist nickname years ago demands over and over to be seen as some kind of trustworthy voice on Israel. Sis, even if you truly believed the racial dynamics of Jewish-Americans in the context of discussions of Israel, Zionism, foreign policy, etc. held merit as a topic of discussion, would you honestly believe that mantle... was destined to be yours to take up? And that's before even addressing those ugly comments years later directly involved in political issues like calling Ilham Omar a terrorist all because she or someone else made nepotism baby Chelsea Clinton upset. If you're willing to lie about Levin "parachuting" (his and Stevens' districts were literally combined and he ran in the district his home is literally located in) or claim he has "botched Israel hot-takes" like uhh agreeing with the official US position of a 2-state solution, how can anyone else trust anything of what you're saying and not that you're just lying out of a desire to hurt Palestinians? What's your story, sis? What's your tale? Open up. Share with the class. You''re like an enigma. By no means does geography determine what one can speak on. I'm just trying to contextualize this weird weaponization of US-born identity politics ("this Jewish community leader is... antisemitic!" ????) when, placed next to other things you've said, I'm... not surely sure I buy the claim you care more about identity politics or anti-racism? Expropriate the wealth of Sallie Mae and all other private student loan lenders, send private bankers to forced re-education labor camps, and pass the Free Education For All bill by abolishing the filibuster and jailing any counter-revolution congressmen who say no. Oh good lord, the Bernie Bums never cease to surprise me People are taking out these loans voluntarily. If they can't pay them, maybe they should either have spent their time getting a better degree or just do more to get a better job that pays more. Is there anything y'all don't have some insane Trump-like prepared speech for?
Communion Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 (edited) People posted that idiotic graphic showing Cori Bush voting against all centrist Dems' policies in the House. And swore "we were going to send her ass packing". She went from winning her primary by 3% in 2020 to now winning by more than 40% in 2022. Edited August 3, 2022 by Communion

rihannabiggestfan Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Oh, the filthy rich pig is garbage. I can guarantee that she will lose the general election (I couldn't guarantee that for Lucas Kunce tho)

I can guarantee that she will lose the general election (I couldn't guarantee that for Lucas Kunce tho) Well, Democrats have clearly shown they don't want policy-driven candidates. They want vibes that make them feel good about themselves. And if that means nominating a sleepy grandpa like Joe Biden or an inarticulate debate-dodging billionaire like Trump I mean, Busch Valentine, then that's what they're going to flock to. Also, a super jingoist Democratic party that's hopped up on pro-Ukraine, anti-Russia hysteria isn't going to want an anti-war veteran right now. Let's be real though, it's Missouri. Kunce wasn't going to win, especially with Biden dragging down the national ballot for Democrats. He might have stood a chance though if Trump were still president and he were up against Greitens, but really only in that scenario and that's not the reality we live in. So rather than waste grassroots funding on a race that was never going to actually go anywhere, let the billionaire self-fund her own losing campaign and direct the donations to races that could make use of it like Warnock, Kelly, and Mandela Barnes. Vermillion Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Barring some bigger court order, it looks like there'll be weekly or at least monthly Leonard Leo vacation home protests Streisand effect, do your thing
Vermillion Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Pat Toomey gets to turn into Rand Paul for hypocritical concerns on unrelated federal spending on his way out the door? I hope the K Street job is worth it.
Vermillion Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Pied Piper is too risky and too big of a money pit. Good luck I guess. Exhibit B. Or is it C? Lot to get through today. Though I've argued Meijer is only barely a "moderate" and only when compared to the likes of Jim Jordan.
Vermillion Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Was wondering why the Justice Department picked Idaho for their Roe lawsuit and then I realized I forgot about this:
