Honestly part of me wonders if he even would have liked the role. From what's been reported it sounds like he didn't want to just be a ceremonial VP and wanted actual weight to his job vs. Walz who said he'll do whatever. I wouldn't be surprised if they have him in mind for AG. 1

I don't know why Democrats don't invest more time in ads showing the contrast of rallies/vibe as silly as it sounds. I know it would be drifting into a "basket of deplorables" region of drags but so does the "weird" thing and it's effective. 4
