I noticed this a lot today with other GOP congress members :rip:  They say he's a great, fun, honest guy and then in the same breath have to say their "he's soo radical!!" talking points :ahh:

Both things can be true at the same time. Tim is a nice, fun and honest guy, BUT his policies are too radical for the US (in other countries they wouldn't be seen as too radical, but the US operates differently).

One amazing side benefit of all this is Pete Buttigieg being told NO again to getting the keys to the White House - it's so satisfying! We aren't accepting representation whose progressive "values" are built around campaign strategies, instead of a solid character with solid experience. :bam:

But his policies aren't radical at all. In fact the things he has done most Americans would support 🤷

For real. If I wanted to read a Twitter feed.... I'd read twitter.

This has already been addressed by the mods years ago. All of y'all that have shown up to this thread practically yesterday acting like you own the site are so rich :rip:

Take it up with them in HQ or leave.

Loving the Walz pick, but can someone let me know what is the main "oppo research" for him that the Repubs will be trying out on the public?

They're trying to say he turned Minnesota into California :toofunny3:

What separates Walz from other politicians is his willingness to OWN any mistakes and speak to them with honesty and grace. All politicians have blips along the way, if you respond how Walz has and WILL, the mistakes lose their power. His missteps are relatively minor anyway

Hi, could someone please explain to me why some of you say Miss Pelosi is behind this VP pick? Did she really do things behind the scene or it's a joke?

Thanks, sorry I'm not from the us

She always signals her views by leaking to the press. She did the same with Biden dropping. A few days ago it "leaked" that she wanted Walz but the only official statement we got from a spokesperson was something like "Speaker Pelosi is always supportive of past House members"

1. BLM

2. Trans kids

3. His DUI.

In that order.

Reporting behind the scenes with anonymous sourcing - she was being tracked closely because of her influence in getting Biden out prior

Well then let's compare how each perspective Vice President candidate did in 2022.

2022: an R+3 electorate nationally: Walz slightly outperformed Biden by 0.6 in a D+7 state from 2020.

Jd Vance underperformed Trump by 2 in an R+8 share from 2020.

Oh! :jonny6:

Genuinely the common man and actual average American view of "girl idc what's going on in the world, I just want my kid to have a nice school lunch".

This being normal to people who understand punishing China means prices go up in American stores and only pissing off the 5 Nikki Haley for Kamala neocons in the workd.

No need to take this personally, lol. You actually post relevant things, but there's copious clutter. It's confusing at times.

So... Hamas publicly named Sinwar as its leader an hour ago. Ceasefire seems much farther away now, if not dead, because Israel will use this as the ultimate "we don't negotiate with terrorists!!1!1".

Hamas will be much more hardline and militant now. How do y'all think this will affect the race in the U.S.?:bird:
