The others were very much about Harris-Walz while Shapiro's was very much about himself and his career. Being VP is first and foremost about trust and being a team player. Something that fell apart as Dems contorted themselves through an identity crisis after losing to Trump due to Clinton's immense character flaws. I as a leftist still want to get back to where we left off with Sanders around 2017 - my single issue is M4A and single payer healthcare - and think such is inevitable with the contradictions of capitalism if Harris let's a liberal agenda fall into the same traps Obama did, but there's something psychological about a fresh start. A page turn. Closing the chapter on the Clinton era of politics (1992-2023). You inevitably might miss out on a sense of a new path being charted if you're not actually living and experiencing these political realities yourself. 4 2
