These people just making **** up. Donald trumps plan is to round up millions of people and put them in detention centers. This can only happen if they racially profile all brown people. Kamala is nowhere near this.

There's no point arguing with people who view Kamala Harris and Donald Trump as equivalent. It's worm for brains.

The bipartisan immigration bill is objectively more conservative and harsher than anything Trump passed in his presidency.

If the argument is to then pivot to that Trump's worst plans he hasn't yet passed are still worse, I think that fair, but also doesn't answer liberal hypocrisy on going from crying about kids in cages to wanting to move to the right of Trump's 2016-2020 immigration policy.

@Communion A strident Zionist behind murder and sexual assault cover-ups that clearly doesn't give any ****s about multiple factors of labor in this country.

Nine articles I've found and posted among a typhoon of criticism and yet I still think he's gonna be picked.

I'm at a loss.

It's so odd this election season that Trump's team seems to be playing to that podcast bros/gen z boys 18-24 group who worship Adin Ross and Andrew Tate. Compared to 16/20 elections he went the Conservative Christian route.

I guess they're angling for the future? There aren't many conservative christian 18-24 men who haven't been radicalized at this point and with each election cycle as the baby boomers die off they'll make up a greater and greater percentage of the Republican electorate. They're spotty on turnout now for sure, but if the GOP caters to their whims going forward I could see them becoming more reliable voters, maybe?

What makes the bill more harsh than kids in cages. Please tell.

I'm sorry - and I know the good sis @Vermillion's posts probably feel like punch aftet punch - but I am screaming that for 4 years insiders have been hyping up a fame ***** so overtly thirsty for power and yet it takes just 2 weeks of minor vetting to find out he's a conservative ruthless cop who has actively tried to sabotage progressives and empower Republicans during his time in office, that his all star resume is only built on defeating an insane person he spent $2m in ads to help win the Republican primary, and that he has no actual genuine views besides his love for Israel and whatever will bring him power?? :deadbanana4:

If Kamala's entire weakness is that people have no clue what her actual views are because she swayed between ideological spectruns to progress her career, please for the love of God don't make her VP a more ruthless white male cishet version of her.

Political elections are not cop buddy duo films. The progressive prosecutor angle works over Trump but doesn't then extend to sus white dude cops??

For once, 100% agree with you. Join the beshear prayer circle.  There is still hope until an official announcement is made.

I'm not in support of the immigration bill, just sayin', but it's fully, 100% disingenuous to pull comparisons. Unfortunately, Americans have been brainwashed into thinking the immigration issue is worse now than it was 2016-2020 so the answer is "harder legislation". I know you guys hate to hear this, but this kind of thing is incredibly popular with the American people no matter how morally wrong it is.

There is just no way she's picking Shapiro. There is just no way their vetting didn't come across this bevy of potential scandals that his picking would cause for her. NO. No. No.

I believe this, announcement rallies are never in the VPs home state. Keep eyes on Walz' and Beshears movement :gaycat2:

Hmm, I think it's interesting to challenge the notion of democracy as we know it. Perhaps comparing Kamala and Trump is exaggerated, but honestly, the situation in Palestine is just part of a series of blows to our conceptions of our systems. It continues to highlight how unsustainable our economies, part of our democratic system, and other elements of our societies are. Discrediting or disregarding their comment will just further nurture their mindset. An honest exchange with facts is the way to go.

FWIW, it's pretty common for VPs to not know they've been chosen until last minute.
