Alaska is slowly shifting left. It's only 3 electoral votes thoughย :gaycat6:

Alaska may be shifting but Murkowski is who she is.

Glad to see Harris picking up momentum. It feels like we have so much room to grow too. Meanwhile Trump feels tapped out and fading. This election continues to be very interesting for sure

She's not too bad outside of Fossil Fuels. Girl loves crude oil and drilling in national parks.ย :deadbanana4:

I haven't done much research on any of the vp candidates but it seems like Shapiro would do more harm than good

ย

A vp pick should do the least amount of damage possible. The best option seems likeย Beshear

Eventhough I hate it, this election is prolly one of the most interesting ones to follow tbh. It may be hard to watch but still interesting regardless. It's like we are experiencing a real-life election season in a Black Mirror episode.

I think the best we get from her is a Peltola'd non-endorsement of either candidate

This is kind of why I've been figuring Shapiro would be the pick all along.

ย

She doesn't really owe any ounce of her success to progressives or even liberals. So her triangulating and picking the "worst"/most moderate choice makes all the sense in the world.

ย

And the left genuinely does have nowhere else to go. We are truly the most electorally worthless voting bloc for that reason, and it's genuinely hard not to doom over that immutable fact of life. Hard not to come to the conclusion of "why bother?"

ย

So yeah, maybe I've jumped the gun a little, but I still think the Shapiro outcome is the most likely. Democrats feel most vulnerable right now with their Jewish and Zionist bases of support: voters and donors/PACs alike. So appeasing them is the easiest strategy to follow, and they'll just assume (probably correctly) that everyone against him will fall in line as always. Besides, even if they lose, they'll always have them to blame regardless of whether it's true or not like how Bernie or Busters remained the fall guys for Hillary's loss and not working class black voters who stayed at home in Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and Detroit.

I know I come in here sharing clips of ironic things... but damnย :deadbanana2:

ddddd he just set up Kamala for a match point. If he tries to come after her for being the "border czar" she can just be like, "you said VPs don't matter. How can you blame that on me as the VP?" :rip:

I think that much like how Trump picked Vance, the Harris campaign probably see no need to go with a do-no-harm candidate, assuming that the left will come home regardless, or just not vote (which is better than them losing moderates to Trump). Why try to rally a base that has nowhere else to go?

That's the thing, though. You guys aren't worthless and have the power to change this country for the better, but you have to organize and stop with the dooming so you can begin electing people who will then pressure Democrats like Harris. If you give up the moment someone like Harris doesn't capitulate, it's over. We're seeing this with Corey Bush right. now about to lose her primary. That shouldn't be happening. Where is the ground game support for her?ย

Being unable to spell a black woman's name while pretending she's gonna lose her primary due to lack of organized support and not because Zionists are funding her opposition 10 to 1.ย :rip:

ย

Some of you just heard the idea that voting is a civic duty and never developed the life skills to be able to cope with such a claim not being a reality.ย

ย

90% of your posts include some deranged combination of "leftists (same as MAGA)" yet now you believe in leftist organizing?

ย

Part of growing up is accepting people aren't going to vote how you want.ย  That you're not entitled to anyone to vote in a way that would make you feel better and that voting is a series of transactional exchanges, nothing more.ย

I apologize for misspelling Cori's name. I get mad when people mispronounce "Kamala" so there was no excuse for that. The point stands. You guys are just blaming the Jews when you can very easily beat them by simply voting. Voting is a civic duty; it's how you ensure you are represented. Of course there's a ton of nuance there, such as voter suppression, but I think my point is clear.

ย

Part of growing up is accepting politicians are not going to pander to you when you never in turn vote for them. You guys do not live in reality; you live in a world where every politician must pass a purity test or they won't get your vote... Not realistic. A child-like mentality.

ย

Leftists should stop pushing MAGA talking points and maybe people will stop calling them MAGA. :fish:

This from the same people who say we "make up" genders and biology is fact now saying being Black and Indian is not possible.

Who the **** on Trump's team thought letting him go to the National Association of Black Journalists conference was a good idea when anyone who is alive and breathing could've guessed this was what was gonna come out of his mouth
