FWIW, Obama's first rally with Biden was in Chicago. Trump introduced Pence in NYC. Location doesnt mean much.ย

Voice of reason. Thank you.

In the meantime, Beshear can teach Democrats across the country how to make campaign ads that have proven to work in red states. :heart:ย

It's a shame his daddy has never been President or VP so he could ride those coattails a second timeย :-*ย

Daddy Beshear argued same-sex marriage being illegal wasn't homophobic because heterosexual people were also barred from having a same-sex marriage. So I'm okay with daddy Beshear staying within Kentucky. :-*ย

The way segment after segment on CNN has been pushing Walz tonight. A shame we can't have a VP debate so we could see him flatten BeshFLOPย :clap3:ย

I have whiplash trying to keep up with the amount of posts in here and everyone's oscillations (I love it). Do you all find time to post in any of the music threads too? If so, which ones? I'm trying to see the polls and havoc you bring to Katy stansย

Looks like Kamala needs to find a streamer if this is true:rip:

ย

Adin is ******* stupid though, the questions he'd probably ask him, mostly all non policy related likely:toofunny2:

The "Republicans are weird" rhetoric is kinda cute, but they don't need to run it into the ground too fast or it could turn into an eye-roll situation. The context when they say it matters.ย

Or maybe that's just a me-problem because I'm tuned in to this mess 24/7.

Hasan jumps out as the obvious choice but the way he would drag her to and fro on so many issues, especially Gaza :rip:ย

ย

Her team better VET that interview!

I don't think Hasan's reach is big enough. Plus his audience would be voting Kamala anyway.

I mean, based on what I've read, if you watch this guy then I don't see how you aren't a Trump voter already :rip:ย

Ehh, I can see a lot of Hasan's viewers being progressives who aren't sold on Kamala too. Or even men who just aren't fond of a woman getting their vote (his Twitch chat is kind of a mess..) Plus, that would sorta be like saying Kamala shouldn't go on CNN or MSNBC at all, a lot of those viewers will already vote for her but it's still good to get your name and face out there. And let's be realโ€ฆ most of Adin's base is definitely voting Trump.
ย

But also Hasan is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, smaller than Adin but it's not like Hasan is irrelevant or anything.

I could see someone like Kai Cenat possibly but.. I hope not. :deadbanana4:

I did mention Kai Cenat a couple weeks ago, but his content is usually so unserious:rip:ย But he gets people like Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice and Kevin Hart on his stream so it's theoretically possible. It would be more of Kamala just trying to be normal or relatable than a serious political interview:skull:ย But a lot of people vote off vibes I guess so:rip:

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran's Tehran, the Palestinian militant group Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday. In a statement, the Islamist faction mourned the death of Haniyeh, who it said was killed in "a treacherous Zionist raid on his residence in Tehran".

Sister this probably just made It 100x more harder for Kamala to win. We're about to enter a regional war and Democrats always lose support during such.ย :rip:

Harris had a very solid rally in Atlanta tonight. She's managed to keep her steam since Biden's drop out, and these sorts of performances from her when she speaks are a big part of it. She's the most interesting and engaging candidate in terms of her speaking engagements the Democrats have put up since Obama in my opinion, and that's going to play very well with an audience.

ย

But this VP debate does have me nervous. There's a very clear correct choice in Beshear and I'm afraid that isn't the choice that's going to be made. Normally I would say a VP doesn't have a massive effect on voters, but we've seen elections where a bad VP can tank a campaign. It happened to McCain, it could happen here. When Trump has someone like Vance who isn't even super popular among Republicans, she needs a really solid and universally agreeable pick for VP. Shapiro isn't it. And I hope beyond hope Beshear's cryptic message the other day means she knows that.ย
