I ****ing KNEW Eric Holder was gonna pull this ****. Way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. What a waste. Way to burn your momentum.

Get yourself a sweet treat and take it easy for a bit pookie. We know not what tomorrow brings.

Shapiro is the only one with a relationship to any swing state to be fair.ย
ย

EDIT: Not me already forgetting we think Kelly is in the runningย

I don't think that's what's happening at all though?ย
ย

This reads to me as a very generic defense against the weakest part of her record.

ย

She has to explain that she was trying and will do something about the border. Her focusing on human traffickers and drug traffickers at the border rather than specific illegal immigrants current living in the U.S. is the correct framing.

ย

ย

Hopefully she speaks on it soon but she needs to address some kind of path to citizenship plan.ย

It's insane how much a path to citizenship has fallen out of public consciousnessย

Maybe conservative voters will think Shapiro is Ben Shapiro and accidentally vote for Kamala instead idkย

Please walz I hope he wins. He clearly the best one of all of them. He can speak to the everyday man, former teacher, former military vet, knows how to argue and energize the younger generation. He perfect. Against Vance and trump if he ever need to argue with them. Not too mention having him around can help push Kamala be more progressive.ย

I feel like it's either Shapiro or they still haven't even decided yet. Either wayโ€ฆ :rip:

FWIW, I think it lowers the chance it's Kelly. PA is a swing state, so it makes sense to campaign there but so is AZ. Why not announce in Tuscon or Pheonix if you were announcing Kelly?ย

ย

Beshear, Butti and Walz arent from swing states, so no reason to announce in their home states.

First joint campaign stop for Biden/Harris back in 20 was in Delaware, so I don't think the location necessary means Shapiro.

I mean if we've gotten multiple statements today alone that a choice hasn't been made and she's doing interviews over a period of days, it's way too premature to think scheduling means something

Not yall making us go full GhostBox for Kamala Harris with all this doomerism and cynicism, it hasn't even been much over a WEEKย :giraffe:ย Collect yourselvesย :giraffe:

I'm just not sure what they see in Shapiro. What's he bringing besides a better chance to win PA? I don't find him to be a particularly energizing speaker, he's not a super seasoned governorโ€ฆ I don't get it.ย

ย

They must see some kind of path to winning without Michigan but.. how :skull:ย

What's the guts feeling guys? Shapiro isn't it?:deadbanana4:

Regardless of who VP is I am curious what information her campaign has on Michigan generally.

ย

If it is Shapiro, I wonder how much of it is them feeling more confident fighting extra hard in Michigan and a little less hard in the rest of the Rust Belt than trying to fight equally hard across the Rust Belt.

- Good speaker

- Swing State

- Not Oldย

- Counters some of the antisemitism allegations (though also raises anti-Palestinian ones)ย

ย

Winning Georgia or the combination of Arizona-Nevada would make up for losing Michigan. I think the real tea is that they probably think they can win Michigan even with Shapiro (and I don't think that's necessarily wrong but I assume they're privy to data that we aren't).
