Communion Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Feels like an unforced error - with comments already painting her phony in the way of Clinton - to needlessly drop positions popular with majority of Dems and indies. ย I know people will react negatively to any criticism of the early shaping of her campaign, but this isn't an attempt to shame people for how they vote. Just a realistic observation that something in her policy platform is gonna have to paint her as to the left of Biden to excite progressives and young people, and those options are quickly dwindling. ย ย 3 2

This announcement is not necessary, just makes her look inauthentic & wishy washy

This announcement is not necessary, just makes her look inauthentic & wishy washy Especially when explicitly saying you "no longer support Medicare For All" basically leaves progressive to assume her views match Biden's claim he'd veto it if passed by Congress.

I think he means interesting because we're going to see Harris either tied or ahead. ย 9 minutes ago, Armani? said: This is a hot mess but who really thinks Medicare For All would pass in House & Senate anyway. This announcement is not necessary, just makes her look inauthentic & wishy washy No, she's being realistic. She's trying to win the White House and her polling and ratings say that what she's saying and doing is working. Her policy positions are a lot more progressive than what were used to, but she hast to play the game. Once She's in the White House, she can do whatever the hell she wants. 2

Oh god you're already propelling her to lose like you did Clinton in 2016.ย ย ย No, attacking popular policies is not helpful, let alone when they are ones you yourself one had.ย ย Going through a 3rd election cycle of this is suicide-inducing. Your claims are objectively wrong. Find a different set of defense. Edited July 30 by Communion 4

GhostBox Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) Kamala is shifting her "public" opinions on some subjects to the center a little because she needs to get elected! ย We all know what she really believes in and I feel like if she were to win and have a big mandate she would get back to pushing those Positions a little further left and work to get them passed. ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ Edited July 30 by GhostBox
