Mike91 Posted July 28 Posted July 28 (edited) The attacks on Kamala from the right only appeal to people who are already voting for Trump. Same thing happened when Obama was president. You can tell they are mad though. They really thought they won the election in July.ย ย Edited July 28 by Mike91 1

That video of Kamala Harris will be viewed by millions of women who feel the exact same way and agree with her. And it's not just climate change, it's also cost and lack of healthcare, among others, that have women apprehensive about having children. They're doing Kamala's campaigning for her.ย Edited July 28 by Sannie 1
Sannie Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Holy ****. This dude might actually take it. If Andy is indeed out, it's gotta be this guy and then get his ass out on the road and on every news show.ย 5

GraceRandolph Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Okay I'm aboard the Kamala train, but we need to let Marianne speak at the DNC.ย 2

NausAllien Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Oh, wow... Apparently is between these three and Shapiro is the more likely candidate: ย ย Shapiro is a very controversial pick for what I've seen. It may alienate many younger voters. Kelly has a really bad record with unions, which could hurt her chance. That leaves only Walz as a good choice. ย ย

What a loser ย 3
Blade Posted July 28 Posted July 28 I can only hope Kamala, who has definitely seen Walz TV appearances in the past 6 days (wtf how has it not even been a WEEK yet), will resonate with his quick witted attacks on Republicans. That's someone who can deliver her message of being the sane choice to moderates while still appealing to the leftist base. 6

GhostBox Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Literally no one is saying this. He just lumped her together with MLK because they ย are both black. He's such a racist ๐ ย
shelven Posted July 28 Posted July 28 My personal feelings on Shapiro's politics aside, from anย electoralย standpoint, my biggest concern with him is that he probably makes Harris favoured in Pennsylvania but makes her the underdog in Michigan because of how aggressively pro-Israel he is. And Harris's path to 270 becomes a lot harder if she loses Michigan. Even if she wins Wisconsin, she still needs either Georgia or both Arizonaย andย Nevada. ย I still think Walz and Beshear are the safest choices. They're good at messaging to more moderate and rural voters without supporting policies that risk alienating parts of the Dem base. They might not give a huge boost to any particular state like Shapiro could do in Pennsylvania, but I think they'll have a net positive effect across all the swing states, which is more important given Harris's pretty precarious path to 270. I guess Cooper falls into this bucket too, although I frankly haven't seen enough of him to get a sense of how effective he'll be as an overall messenger for the ticket (plus putting a 67-year-old on the ticket after making a big deal about switching to a more youthful campaign would be a bit weird). 4 1
