It wasn't established out of nowhere, correct. Israel was established when Zionists were able to convince the British to grant them their' *re-reads* like 5th choice after the 4 other places they wanted to establish a Jewish state rejected them, including places in Russia, South America, and Africa.

The British even refused to let Jewish settlers into their settlement of British Uganda!

Of course though Madame VP should be most concerned that a US ally is using US-funded and US-made weapons to not only kill 200,000 Palestinians in Gaza but continue their expansionist missions in other parts of Palestine like the West Bank and antagonize regional neighbors like Syria, Lebanon, and others.

Oh and last thing on this since I have another second. I think this proves the point even further. Zionism wasn't/isn't founded on the premise of murdering other people as you try to purport. Its purpose was to identify a state for the Jewish people for their safety and autonomy (as evident here by initial considerations of different places to achieve that goal). Anyway

Did you know about the father of zionism admitting that they would need to take the land by force? And that guns were of most importance? :lakitu:

I believe the receipts have been posted in this very thread. :lakitu:

It's clear Kamala has young people on her communications team with Joe well they're responding to everything and how they're working the social media angle. I just hope she has the same type of voices near the top when talking about the VP pick.

It's clear Harris has a different opinion and approach of this matter (and many others) than Biden does.

we have to remember right now she is still VP. She has  to balance a thin line of being her own candidate but also not going against her boss.

we have to help her win and then she can truly be her own person and judging by her statements and actions would be different from Biden. And would be no matter who she picks as her vp.

there so much good that she could help bring but we have to vote 👏🏼

Well yeah, that's my point. The media is claiming Andy is out, but if he's still being ran through by the campaign then he's probably still in the running.

:ahh: yes, pls keep saying stuff like this and pushing her. Give her an even easier reason to slam the hammer down on you.

Yaas, discredit the concept of culture wars herald by conservatives as weird. Reiterate that the normal response from a boomer parent to their millennial child being vegan is "I don't know what the hell a soy dog is, sweetheart, but whatever makes you happy" and not "the Deep State is using soy meat to make kids trans".

You're not being a Debbie downer, it's just realistic. The villages has a bunch of liberals just like it has a bunch of conservatives, but the state as a whole obviously is more conservative nowadays.

I wish we had more time so that the country could get to know Walz, but I just don't think there's enough time to get out there.

I try not to praise "normality" since liberals tend to over-glorify the pre-Trump years, but wow, it really does feel like the energy has shifted since Kamala started running. It's like the whole world began to touch grass again. :jonny:

Yeah, Sumter County shifted left by about 2% between 2016 and 2020. So not a huge swing, but it did go in the opposite direction as the rest of Florida.

Overall, placing too much stock on things like these Villages events is basically the same thing as focusing on rally sizes. It's a cute thing to mention to keep people feeling optimistic and energized, but nobody should actually be viewing this stuff as any sort of objective measure of what the race may look like.

The thing is adding a gay man to the ticket could tick off some older socially conservative Black & Latino voters that still vote Democratic.

Sorry for late reply, but you know, there's still people who are put off by the idea of a woman in charge, any woman. So I say this again, it's not sustainable to do what the conservatives wish for. There will be no progress that way ever.

And I'm not advocating for Pete. Just saying him being gay should be the last reason not to choose him as VP. You can imagine some other queer person, someone who we agree with their policies more, coming up in the future and this same convo will be had about them.

And even if you lose an election just because someone's gay, that's just gonna radicalize young people even more for the next election.

Holocaust Harris is so hilariously extreme and bad faith - that it would serve as amazing  propaganda for her campaign. Slogans like that are only going to continue to push independents towards Harris!

Have we come to a decision on whether JD Vance is wearing eyeliner cuz I find it very distracting whenever I see him.

Posted

Judging by the amount of tweets Don Jr has been posting about Vance it seems even more likely that he was the one that twisted Trump's arm into picking Vance and is now trying to justify the decision.

Sis, you were the user who I referenced before who was posting right-wing attacks on DEI.

Do you think you're seeing people embrace *re-reads* calling Kamala Harris "Holocaust Harris" and claiming she is *re-reads again* an Extinctionist due to having a right-wing online circle?

Edit - In fact, searching the terms literally just bring up hundreds of conservative bots calling her a "literal communist" (if only!) and a single progressive account getting absolutely dunked on by bigger political accounts for using the term with regards to Gaza.
