They put two tons of makeup on him...

ย

He sounds coherent, but you can tell he's reading from a teleprompter.

The speech is well written enough, but oh my god does this validate the decision for him to get off the ticket :deadbanana2:There was no way in hell he was going to be capable of running a robust campaign against Trump for the next 3.5 months.

Honestly I think this is a pretty good speech (except for when he said he's trying to end the war in Gaza because that's BS)

You can see the teleprompter reflected on the glass behind him lol

(But also nobody expects presidents to memorize speeches)

Every president who gives Oval Office speeches sounds the sameย

It was a very somber speech and I expect his numbers to improve ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I'm underwhelmed. He didn't really explain what led to his decision to leave or endorse Kamala strong enough for me. Mehย

I wish he endored Kamala a little bit more.ย

I mean did you want him to be like ย "I was a horrible candidate and my poll numbers sucked so I bowed out" ๐Ÿ’€

Y'all it was an Oval Office address, he's not going to be overtly political/campaigningย

Still kinda wild that even when he doesn't have to worry about optics Biden won't actively attack Trump or the republicans, it was weird to not hear him mention Trump by name even once during that speech

This address wasn't about that. That's why.ย

Biden, I'm grateful you beat Trump and for the judges you put on the bench, but once these 6 months are over I never want to see or hear from you ever againย

Well that's your fault for expecting anyone to ever say that in an oval office address ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ˜‚
