Mike91 Posted July 24 Posted July 24 I'm fully on board with Walz at this point tbh. He comes across as a natural and communicates the dems message against the GOP well (mixed in with a little humor). 1

Praying for Walz I said this either yesterday or a few days ago, but Beshear's appeal isn't visible when just talking to reporters. He needs to be talking to a crowd in suburban and rural areas. 1 1

He'd probably be progressives' ideal scenario with Beshear being the minimum choice they'd have to do to signal they understand the direction isn't to hard pivot right. If it's anyone to Andy's right, it'll probably get messy from here forward.Β Β Β 2

Popular Post Communion Posted July 24 Popular Post Posted July 24 The way in 72 hours the Democratic Party has gone from: Β - being led by an octogenarian who was far-right on a myriad of issues that mattered to its voters, actively antagonistic to young people and activists, chasing Republican voters with policies that pivoted to the right, and whom could barely speak to counter his rapist competition Β To now being: Β - Led by a black woman actively toeing the line to ensure she falls in sympathy with the base, whose VP discussions are currently filled with debates on who has effectively passed the most progressive legislation, and whose guided message is that the American people are entitled to good union jobs, good healthcare, good education, to feel safe no matter their identity or race, and that we must continue to progress - this being a direct attack on Project 2025 and the Republican desire to turn back the clock.Β "We are not going back!" NausAllien Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Even though Harris has improved in key demographics, she's still trailing Trump by 3%. As I've been saying, she needs to reach out to new demographics, especially white men, if she wants to succeed. 5

TaggedGalaxy Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Kamala needs to continue to reach out to younger voters and that's why she needs to distance herself from Biden's stance on Israel, move to the left of Israel and choose a running mate who isn't a zionist. The young vote will win her the election if she can energize that base and get them to go out and vote the same way Gen Z prevented a red wave during the mid terms. She seems to have a good pulse on young voters so far and she needs to keep that going. My concern is whether she surrounds herself with out of touch campaign managers 2 7

VOSS Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Yeah it's clear picking a Jewish VP would be the wrong choice at this point 1
