Virgos Groove Posted July 24 Posted July 24 This is very much pot calling the kettle black since I'm also a foreigner discussing US politics (), but can @NausAllien be removed from this thread or something? The constant appeasing to Trump ("Project 2025 isn't real!!" "Well, it's real, but he's not gonna do it!!!") and right-wing talking points are starting to get annoying. 4 1 2 1

You're lying about Biden's record yet in a way that explicitly and illogically frames it as progressive or liberal in a way it never was. Biden defended to keep Title 42 in place. He regularly tried to strong-arm Mexico and even supported other Trump policies like Remain In Mexico despite it and Title 42 being found illegal (shocker - Mexico is an autonomous state who also gets to say who crosses into their borders from America). He offered Republicans what would have been objectively the most conservative immigration policy in 30 years and even ended up signing executive orders that left countless refugees and asylum seekers suffering. 14 minutes ago, Communion said: There is no such thing as a border czar. There is no border crisis and Biden has a far right record on immigration. She was tasked with a diplomatic assignment of investigating root caused for why Central American migration is occuring to the US and what the US can do to help stop people from wanting to leave their countries. Nothing came of this work by nature of what it is and if anything will hurt Harris with progressives given the clip of her saying "do not come" at a presser about Central American migrants. @NausAllien Clearly not interested in a debate in good faith having not responded to any of this so I'm not going to bother and get back to my news posts. Have fun @Communion

This is possible with a Harris presidency. 42 minutes ago, NausAllien said: Republicans will definitely use this whole mess to paint the Democratic party as ANTI-democracy, because at the end of the day, they DID ignore primary voters who voted for Joe Biden, and decided, on their own, to annoint Kamala Harris. BTW, I checked, and the ballots that were cast during the primaries didn't have Kamala's name ANYWHERE. It was assumed that she was going to be Biden's VP, but NO ONE voted for her. Ever. More right-wing talking points from you. PEOPLE VOTE FOR A TICKET. THEY VOTED FOR THE BIDEN/HARRIS TICKET. I know it's hard for you guys to accept that people would actually vote for a black woman, but they did. 1 1 1

She had to withdraw BEFORE the primary due to a lack of support. She only got like 1% of the vote. And it has nothing to do with her race. If Michelle Obama was running, she'd have an easy win.

This isn't rocket science, sis. The previous primary was Harris vs Biden, not Biden & Harris? Edited July 24 by Sannie

She new she couldnt win, so she pivoted herself into the vp position over other people who stayed in but couldnt (and didnt) win. She was not even in the race by Iowa which was the first primary, so obviously its a miracle she even got 1% of the vote. 1
anti-bitch Posted July 24 Posted July 24 I wonder if Kamala will accompany Joe tonight in the TV speech
