Sannie Posted July 22 Posted July 22 She's ******* listening to us. Doing exactly what we've been telling her to do. Ears on the ground. 4

She's NOT going to win if her entire campaign is centered around attacking Trump. Everyone knows what type of guy he is: a convicted felon and a sexual predator who treats women like garbage, etc, etc, etc. They are still voting for him because they don't CARE that he is an awful person. So those attacks aren't really going to change anyone's minds. What she needs to do is actually PROPOSE things. Have actual policies and a platform that provides a solution for the problems of the common people. 1 1
mindbender Posted July 22 Posted July 22 The prosecutor angle cracks me up because the left typically hates prosecutors and vouches for defendants. I went to law school and took an internship in a prosecutor's office and had classmates literally question me as to why I would accept that role.

No, this won't change the minds of people who are already voting for him, but that's not who she's going after. This tenacity will help undecideds come to her side because they want someone other than Biden or Trump who will fight. She spoke about her record throughout history, which is impressive, and will begin talking about policies and plans. Again, it's DAY TWO. 5 1

You spamming polls every 10 minutes when youve already been told it's too early to be obsessing over them is the equivalent to a child asking their parents "are we there yet" every 5 minutes on a road trip. We get it. 4
Communion Posted July 22 Posted July 22 (edited) 1 hour ago, NausAllien said: That's exactly the problem she had in 2019. There was a lot of online noise and cheers around her, but then when it came down to actually VOTING for her, no one did. She got 1% and that's why she quit before the primaries. It was embarrassing. She's just not very likable and I'm surprised people here don't really want to acknowledge that fact. The joke is that @Gottasadae is a conservative liberal Biden supporter whose #1 priorities are oddly "expanding NATO" and "pushing back on China" so if the good sis and his compatriots are not excited about Kamala, that just means actual normal voters who just want groceries to be less expensive are gonna love her. 270 here we come. The college-centric demographic hates it, but most adults, including minorities, prefer strong police presence. 1

Communion Posted July 22 Posted July 22 (edited) Let's not get too crazy with the copaganda now. There's a reason why Miss K is leading any mention of her past with "protecting women". Val Demmings ran literal ads with her wearing her police badge and calling herself "Sheriff Demmings" and underperformed polls by like 12 points in right-wing Florida despite playing into every ugly right-wing trope about why cops who lead with iron fists are good. There's enough difference in the cultural cache between cops vs lawyers that blurring those lines would only harm her. Edited July 22 by Communion 1 3

I'd like to know the truth about the president since he does have 5 more months left to serve. Everything is done so secretively. I also don't understand how no one cares about Biden repeatedly saying he is staying in the race (literally as recent as Friday) and then suddenly dropping that bomb. Not a single word can truly be trusted from anyone. Also I find it hilarious that NEWSMAX broke the story last week that Biden was stepping down and everyone was quick to dismiss it since they are extremely right wing-y. For the record, people were quick to dismiss the sourcing from literal rapist Mark Halperin who couldn't get a gig anywhere after being fired from multiple outlets but Newsmax and are surprised that sources still trust him and give him information.

Blade Posted July 22 Posted July 22 @Communion how would you feel about Harris Shapiro considering Harris herself seems to be distancing herself from blind American-Israel loyalty 1
GraceRandolph Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Fundraising, brat memes, and contrasting criminal Trump with prosecutor Kamala will not be enough to win. What policies is she putting forward? What is she offering that makes her administration seem like a new beginning for Americans who might not be politically engaged?

Girl, you need to write some delusional fan-fic memoirs already coz it's only job you can do perfectly "conservative liberal Biden supporter" >> "pushing back on China" >> 1

I think a lot of undecided suburbanites are tired of seeing takes from the GOP like "being a stepmom makes you not a real mother" and "people who laugh are inherently incompetent" Don't worry, they've got a strategy to combat this: 1 2
