No. I, as with several other members here, strongly believe Merrick Garland will not charge Donald Trump for fear of the political backlash. Some combination of people including Steve Bannon and Mark Meadows will be charged and get jail time and will be the administration's scapegoats here. And she wants to offset Cuellar’s pro-choice vote (which Pelosi could bend in a hot second, but I digress), then she should pick a purplish district with a Republican incumbent to turn blue. Guaranteed way to get attention and even money! Problem solved. The downside is, she’ll actually have to work for her seat.
