Mike91 Posted July 22 Posted July 22 I don't understand how people can say nominating Kamala would be a "coronation". She's literally the Vice President, next in line.ย If Biden died tomorrow, she would be president. How would she not be the nominee in this situation?ย ย It would be one thing if the primaries didn't pass already, but they did. We're literally in a "break glass in case of emergency" situation.ย 8
YellowRibbon Posted July 22 Posted July 22 She better pick Beshear... He's the epitome of harmless white straight guy from the MidWest with a family and a dog that could bring some sense of "moderate approach" to an eventual Harris administration (and that could also convince independent voters to vote for the ticket) ย Plus there's no downside in choosing him as his time in Kentucky is done.
Mike91 Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Also thank god we had an earlier than normal debate this year. Imagine if the Biden debate performance didn't happen until September.ย 1

GraceRandolph Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Kamala is not the nominee. Sorry, but the Democratic Party should've allowed a blitz primary to show us who our choices are. This does feel anti-Democratic.ย 11
AlternativeFacts Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Biden said he wanted to pick a black woman VP in 2020 before he announced her. it was a coronation then and it's a coronation now.
Communion Posted July 22 Posted July 22 I'm sorry but I'm glad this lunatic looks like an idiot now. Literally one of the worst Blue Anon accounts out there. A literal former Republican.ย ย ย ย

Biden essentially picked someone that got 1% of the votes and didn't even make it to the PRIMARIES. Even Amy Klobuchar would have made more sense. ย Kamala is the nominee but she was never voted to be a presidential candidate. I haven't checked but I'm pretty sure it's a first.ย 1

justin. Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Republican tears are giving me so much life this evening. Thank you, Nancy Pelosi!ย 1
GraceRandolph Posted July 22 Posted July 22 So she's going to earn the nomination but the Democratic Party is discouraging anyone from challenging her because it'll be "political suicide" then? 1
