The only people even hypothetically interested in challenging Kamala at the convention are people with no chance any other way. Sure you'll see Marianne Williamson try it because she's going to get laughed out of the room anyway, so she might as wellย try, and Joe Manchin burned basically every bridge on his way out of the party, so he has nothing to lose. Serious candidates with even a sliver of a serious chance know better.ย

Sorry, but these are ridiculous. She's NOT the nominee or presumptive nominee even. There is no nominee until after the convention and with this crazy election cycle anything is possible. The Democratic Party coalescing around her is so weird. Just say you support her decision to seek the nomination.ย

This fraud has lost all my respect. She tried her hardest to sabotage Kamala over the last days - spreading misinformation that donors and delegates would want another candidate besides Harris. The opposite is true. Shes made herself look like a fool and completely sabotaging any step forward for the progressive movement. This on top of her ditching her caucus sisters. She better stay in that safe blue zone of hers as her career outside of it is non existent.ย

Kamala is NOT the nominee. Manchin and her will split votes and we will elect Marianne Williamson as the first female POTUS.ย

As far as donors were concerned she wasn't entirely wrong but we'll never know how many, or how that division translates to any delegate holdouts. Now the obvious response to that might be not enough worth commenting on for her backers but small narratives have a way of turning into runaway trains from press hype alone.

ย

Now the caucus sister angle I completely agree with.

Perfect time to bring up one of her most relatable moments. :dies: First world leader to talk about the REAL issue (how much paper straws suck).

I am curious why Warren seemed to have endorsed the idea of Harris as POTUS earlier than most progressives. This was from yesterday.

ย

Though Warren also specifically chose to not run in 2016 and was outed as giving Hillary progressive consulting (Hillary probably needs a refund ddd) and is thus more of a strategist in playing the tides she sees coming as opposed to trying to swim against them out of ideological commitment like Sanders. I wonder if it meant Senate Dems got hints yesterday it was coming and that Bernie, AOC, etc. genuinely think their bread was buttered better with Biden. There is so much happening right now we won't know the inner-workings of for years to come.

When you think about it, it's kinda insane that she's Dems' last hope when she didn't even get to the PRIMARIES. This is what I call FALLING UP.

ย

I still think she's far from the best candidate if they want to beat Trump, but with all the chaos of these past weeks, I guess they just want to fall in line and pick someone non-controversial. This is why it's so important for her to pick the right VP.ย
