They'll go in on her for that But she wasn't the one calling the shots on that + she can effectively hit back at Trump who promised to fix the border issue and didn't come close.
John Slayne Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Wonder why Obama didn't endorse Kamala right away. Does he have someone else in mind he's going to push?

Oh, there's no way he'll push someone else. He wouldn't dare try to fracture this unity. Odds are, he's holding off to seem "impartial" lmao. 1

Twitter stereotypes about how black men don't support black women. People need to start remembering that over a third of eligible adults in the US don't vote at all. A lot of these weird takes come from people who likely won't be voting for anybody regardless. I agree, I'm not a fan of this self-defeatist attitude. How do Democrats expect the country to support black women if they can't even do it themselves? They need to show faith and confidence in her, people will follow. Edited July 21 by John Slayne

Bernie clearly has some kind of spoken deal with Biden and we saw Biden trying to pivot in the last week with ideas that read like they were found at the bottom of Bernie's 2020 platform. She didn't spend long in the senate as a senator and their main legislative work together was the $2k a month bill proposed for the entire pandemic that didn't pass. How they plan of pivoting for influence? Who knows. Too soon to tell. 1

Just to be clear, Kamala's name is set in stone right? she will be the one running for the presidency, no more back and forth from now on?

We're not voting on behalf of another country, we're voting to stop a genocide from happening in the US. You guys helped push out the guy who was actually close to brokering a ceasefire deal so good job. GraceRandolph Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Harris and Manchin split the centrist delegate votes and Marianne edges out the nomination with uncommitted delegates.
