She lost states that Obama won. She lost. Give it up.ย

She lost? Are you sure? I didn't know that.ย

Comparing her to Obama who won in an historic landslide. Girl!

ย

Speaking of letting it go, sis. Harris is the nominee no matter what. Let it go. Put your money where your mouth is; Biden is gone like you wanted.

Hillary was NOT likable at all. She wasn't even likable two years later!

ย

Heck, she wasn't even likable back in the 90s. Bill was the one having affairs left and right, but SHE was the one that was disliked the most.

ย

Hillary's favorable numbers by the end of the 90s was very high ๐Ÿ’€

ย

as was the case before she started running in 2016. She had the highest favorable numbers than almost all politicians then.ย

We need to establish a Kamala .gif library on the first page of the thread for the months ahead.

Party HAS to unite around her. Doesn't matter what side you're on. There's no time for division.ย :giraffe:

Honestly, just let some people blow off some steam. ย I think the switch to kamala will win most of the coalition over. ย
ย

I really hope she is working tirelessly though to develop her campaign and platform. The next week is key!ย

Look, I'm not here to say HRC was a good candidate, I'm just pushing back on this narrative that she was somehow hated when the data doesn't show that.

ย

She still won the popular vote. Y'all know what "popular" means, right? People loved HRC when she was in office because she was an effective politician. It wasn't until the GOP decided to make her their scapegoat that people began to hate her.

Girl as late of this morning, right before Biden dropped, I was seeing Blue MAGA say that Republicans wanted Biden out of the race. That could not be further from the truth, Trump was SALIVATING at the idea of 100 more days of Biden gaffes.

Uniting? The goalposts keep moving on what uniting even looks like for the Democratic Party given the existential crisis that is Trump and the fact that we just got through a pandemic, ongoing inflation, humanitarian crisis at the Southern border, genocide with our bombs in Gaza and Russia's continued invasion of Ukraine.

ย

Gen Z's lost all hope of purchasing a home, millennials have given up all hope of retirement, and nihilism and cynicism have taken over after the 2020 primary machinations.

ย

No one agrees on how to win over the Obama coalition again which also isn't a worthwhile comparison given that was in a very different time for social media, pop culture and our economy.

And by the time the election came around she and Trump had the lowest in history.ย :skull:

Republicans wanted Biden out of the race for personal reasons but politically they def. wanted him in. He was all they had to fight against. All their narratives were based on him and now they're gone. :ahh:

LBR, the Obama coalition no longer exists. We're too polarized as a country. The best we can do is scrape by, by the skin of our teeth. We can do that with HARRIS/SHAPIRO.

They were high as SOS then plummeted when she started running. Why we're revisiting 2016 again isโ€ฆ.well it was inevitable, nevermind. So I'll repost my thoughts from Thursdayโ€ฆ

ย

The majority of Trump's supportย in 2016 was due to cultural displacement due to racial resentment according to over a dozen large studies in the years that followed the election, including from a majority of the infamous Obama to Trump flip voters that Cambridge Analytica found and micro-targeted, which the right was able to spin because the average voter can't unpack the concept of someone voting for a black man while harboring racial resentment (and how that would apply to voting for a white establishment woman).

ย

In short, a white blue-collar Billy thinking "if Juan down the street who's probably illegal (he isn't) is getting my hard-earned tax dollars for his welfare then **** the system, **** all the brown people, and if Rick Scott wants to take away my Medicare, goodย for him because the system's rotten anyways".

ย

The rest of Trump's support came from economic lies Hillary wouldn't have been able to tackle given her hypocrisy on support of NAFTA and coal comments, etc.

ย

Even if James Comey never came forward, Benghazi never happened, she hadn't bleached a server, actually apologized for shaming Bill's victims, visited the Upper Midwest multiple times, and the Russians never got involved I still think she would've lost.

I hate to say it but as for the Hillary comparisons... Kamala is a lot more likable. Alright?

Kamala hasn't been in the national spotlight as many years as Hillary had before running in 2008. Plus Kamala doesn't have a Benghazi and email scandals.ย

All the memes could help with Gen Z turnout for Kamala

Well, I don't know how it works in US but I can tell you that Spanish PM was reelected one year ago because he took part in a Gen Z podcast and, also, thanks to this meme, which S&D Party used several times during the campaignย

All of these are theoretically "good", but only one makes sense when it comes to what needs to be won in November.

ย

Mark Kelly can win us AZ.

Roy Cooper could possibly win us NC.

Beshear will win us nothing.

Shapiro could win us the entire Rust Belt.

ย

BE SMART, KAMALA. BE SMART.

Because he's high on ketamine and LSD and doesn't have any women willing to breed his babies to populate some crypto-fascist island with Peter Thiel and his ****y facework anymore.
