Then endorse Harris I agree. Then say running a campaign is a full time job and being president is another. Say he's listened to the people's concerns and he will do the job of being president and pass the torch to a younger generation. Then pivot and say that he knows America wants younger options so he's giving them it. Then call on Donald Trump to be selfless, drop out and do the same to give better younger options for Americans. 1
Blade Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I'm not trying to be dramatic but this article from the Atlantic is absolutely terrifying. I've never been more convinced that Trump is going to win until reading this and fair warning it's long. His campaign has strategy down. A ton of parts stood out to me but this thread would be most interested in this Quote But in 2024, LaCivita told me, there are "probably four" true battlegrounds: Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. (He said the campaign feels confident, based on public and private polling, as well as its own internal modeling, that Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina are moving out of reach for Biden.) https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2024/07/trump-campain-election-2024-susie-wiles-chris-lacivita/678806/ 1
GhostBox Posted July 12 Posted July 12 every question was about Biden personally. Of course it was about him 😂

Now he has a well received press conference. drop the news on day 1 of the RNC convention which would drown it out. 🎉 He's doing an interview with Lester Holt on Monday. He's not dropping out. He's fully committed to staying in and handing the country over to Trump.

VOSS Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Someone needs to bribe Hunter ASAP to get in Daddy's ear about bowing out as nominee to save the country
nadiamendell Posted July 12 Posted July 12 (edited) Yep. I've been noticing that it's been mostly conservatives or "former" republicans raving about his press conference performance. Edited July 12 by nadiamendell 1 1

BlueAnon have been bashing NYTimes and WaPo polls as low-quality for weeks now, even before the debate 1

ClashAndBurn Posted July 12 Posted July 12 She had to watch her father's condition deteriorate and now having to see Biden like this is probably triggering something The Bidens don't care. They're attached to the prestige of the office and being the First Family. 1
bunnyeyes Posted July 12 Posted July 12 will everyone give me their opinion on the press conference? Do we think Biden will drop? Seems pretty obvious he won't. The Trump camp being happy Biden will stay is… not a good sign.
karron0624 Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Biden, at this point should drop. We all know he cant fully serve another 4 years, so we are literally all just voting against trump and not for him. This was fine for the 2020 election cycle when people were literally dying because of Trump, but obviously this is not working for 2024. He lied when he said he was going to be a one term president. And this is beyond the most selfish decision he and his family could have made. They ****** up our primaries where we could have selected and prepared a different candidate. And the more time they waste with this farce, the more they ruin the chances of someone else coming in. 2 2

Blade Runner Posted July 12 Posted July 12 BIDEN AT NATO. What a sh+tshow. Your country is cooked and done. 1
ClashAndBurn Posted July 12 Posted July 12 What this charlatan doesn't seem to understand is Biden aides think public access and media exposure doesn't matter BECAUSE Biden doesn't stand up to scrutiny. They don't want him doing interviews not because they're unnecessary but because they know he's 99% guaranteed to fumble. 1 1

Vermillion Posted July 12 Posted July 12 @Blade I suppose I should've also continued another section of those that weren't just politicians, like James Carville. If anyone wants to recreate that for me, be my guest. I know that Governors Maura Healy and Jared Polis were wanting him out, but that was off the record.
