There's 100% going to be a delegate revolt at the convention. No one thinks he can beat Trump except his immediate circle.ย

The tragic thing is..there is not. ย If there is anything we should learn from the Feinstein episode is that the DNC is incapable of doing what is necessary for the good of America. ย

Trump is going to win in November and centrist dems are going to blame leftists and minorities again. ย

When I make dumb decisions in my own life, I own up to them. It sucks, but it is what it is. When some arrogant fossil makes decisions that put my own life (and those of my loved ย ones and countless innocent people) in danger, I become enraged. The best thing that Biden can do is step down and he's hurting all of us by not doing that.ย

I just hope Biden and his family knows that he's going to be the most hated Democratic president in history if he loses in November.ย

Sis he's got money honey. He don't have dentures. Have you not seen his face lift, brow lift, neck tuck, and Botox? The good sis isn't sporting dentures.ย

Not that it really matters but I'm pretty sure he at least has a top set. They nearly fell out of his mouth during one of the 2020 dem debates.

That's just the thing. ย He could step down right now and be regarded as one of the greatest politicians in U.S. history. ย Many years of service in the senate. ย Served as a crucial role in the Obama administration negotiating with congress. ย Beat Trump in 2020 and was a steady hand during the covid recovery. Handled the inflation crisis better than most developed nations and against the odds passed key legislation. ย Finally upon realizing he would not be able to win a re-election, he put country over ego and stepped down so that a new generation of leaders could usher in the reforms the country needed. ย

It's a great epithet. ย But instead he is will be remembered as the man whose ego was so large, he ended up giving the country to fascists.

It's going to be so fun when this becomes the second worst aging tweet in American political history, only behind "Happy birthday to this future President."

He really is scrambling. This reminds me of that Tywin, Game of Thrones quote: "Any man who must say, "I am the king" is no true king"

It looks like the walls are closing in and his party is going to take him outย

ย

Spoiler

I still believe he is the only dem that can win at this point in time, but we may never know at this rateย

He's trying to turn the page. But it's A heavy page. It can't be done in a weekend it's gonna have to take him ย and his campaign a few weeks of real aggressive campaigning to the voters and the party to do it.ย
ย

I still stand on the side that it can be done. And that he still will win in November.
But I wouldn't be surprised if he did hand the nomination over to Harris if after a week or 2 nothing changes.ย
ย

with Harris I think the chances of losing ย is greater ๐Ÿคท

I live in a red state and am not voting in the election for the same reason. Especially since my down ballot races are Repubs running unopposedย

It's like 7 full long weeks till Dems convention in Augustย :giraffe:ย  There will be a lot of polls and events before August 19, at least give Biden and his team a time to analyze the data in swing states and every possibility of his future chances. Even if they switch to Kamala, she still has almost 3 full months to settle and campaignย :gaycat2:ย This overdramatics and panic are not doing any good to your brains.ย

They're covering them because they realize that it brings ratings because people enjoy watching train wrecks, which is why they've been covering Trump 24/7 since he got into politics.ย

is it going to be live, or prerecorded, so they can edit him?ย :chick2:

Prerecorded, 15 minutes, probably with awkward pauses and stuff edited out
